Because that episode might be even worse than 'Time and the Rani'?

Okay, okay before anyone else corrects me, that line was in 'Caves of Androzani' not 'The Twin Dilemma' . My mistake.

/not a moment too soon

Let me think.. 'Three I's in one breath makes you sound very conceited.'

I think that was it.

Indeed. And you can't say anything bad about Caves of Androzani.

No you can't. Twin Dilemma, on the other hand, was so bad it nearly doomed Colin Baker's run as the Doctor from the start.

I love Number 43, the quote from "Vincent and the Doctor."  I printed it out and hung it up in my cubicle when I was working at a call center last year, and I should probably do that again for my grad school cubicle.  It's just so wonderful, and never fails to make me feel at least just a little bit better, no matter how much things have gone to shiat.

Even though I was more than ready for Tennant to go after the emo last few episodes, Matt Smith's Doctor didn't click with me until Vincent and the Doctor.

That's one of the best episodes of both Smith's run and NuWho.

/and they followed Vincent and the Doctor up with another good episode... The Lodger.

I still love the first episode of the 11th doctor (The Eleventh Hour), when he makes the Atraxi turn tail.

Eccleston is the best 'un.

That quote is so uplifting for some people but, and maybe it's just the whiskey talking, I've always seen it the other way around too. The good doesn't outweigh the bad, that's the essence of depression; bi-polar as well. Vincent getting to walk around the gallery and seeing his work admired by all those people, and knowing that it was still so bad in his mind that he went back and killed himself . . . okay, so maybe that's not how it really happened but the pain that the Doctor echos (his own as well? all those people he's killed or left behind?).
