Speaking of Dave, I was in the crowd for the scene where he throws out the first pitch at the Orioles game. I must have been about 12. We were supposed to cheer like crazy and Kevin Kline came out in an O's jacket, waved and threw out the pitch. We had to do it like 5 times and then the actual scene in the movie lasted 3 seconds.

Just kidding. We actually elected this guy in 2000 and reelected him in 2004.

If the list had been written by somebody over 25 years old it would have included :

Seven Days in May : Fredric March as President Jordan Lyman

Failsafe : Henry Fonda as The President

Minerva8918: /I don't care what you say, Independence Day was a great movie.

Pullman's speech on the flight line still makes me want to bomb the sh*t out of alien races whenever I hear it. Will Smith is all kinds of fun. Jeff Goldblum and Judd Hirsch are great. The movie overall is entertaining enough that I don't spend all of it shouting "THAT IS NOT HOW SCIENCE WORKS" at the screen.

/totally agree that Freeman's prez is best prez.

supervacaneous: Fark does, but you have to take a step further and distinguish if it's smart or funny.

Yeah I've been around Fark for a little while, their existence has not escaped me.

Dude, those movies came out in 1964.  You'd need to be a hell of a lot older than 25 or a student of cinema history to know about those.

TV show and not a movie but I would vote for David Palmer (from 24) for President.
