Muta: Lenny_da_Hog: Keep bringing it up to embarrass the shiat out of people who saw her as the greatest American hope. Even if they don't admit it to others, they will themselves know, deep inside, that they were conned and scammed by the GOP.

Make them dissolve from within.

Do you think she still wears that shirt?

ongbok: Lionel Mandrake: Nicholas D. Wolfwood: She must be hard up for cash.  She's going all out these last few days trying to fan the embers of her lost 15 minutes of fame back into a paycheck.  But all she's doing is making herself out as even more of a flaming @$$hole.

Word is she's "writing" a book on "the War on Christmas."  Due out...Halloween or so?  No later than Thanksgiving.

She'll make millions.  But she won't convince anyone of anything who isn't already fkn stupid as a bucket of warm spit.

How is she going to make millions? Does she still have a PAC that will buy up thousands of copies of her book? And does she still give enough speeches for that PAC to give her books to contributors? Because with her other books not too many people actually bought them. All of the sales were from her PAC buying them up to give away.

I work at a used book store. We can't even sell signed copies of "Going Rogue" for $1.00 out of clearance.

I don't recall anyone, at any time, ever asing for "America by Heart." Most of the time I just chuck it in the trash in order to make room for something else that might actually be marketable for $1.00 clearance.

The thought of another O'Reilly "killing" book ("Killing Jesus") and Palin herpin' and a derpin' about the mythical War on Christmas makes me a sad panda.

I can't help but lose repsect for someone willing to shell out cash for either.

True...I'm assuming that someone somewhere paid attention to who bought copies and where they lived.  With proper marketing and distribution strategies, Palin is a money-maker.  I fkn hate it, and I would love to be wrong, but I don't think I am.

FOX is national.  I'm saying that promoted regionally, with limited printing, she can still make herself profitable.

I think (and I may be wrong) that she was offered an extension at FOX, but at a quite reduced pay.  Maybe reduced enough that it was tantamount to being fired - I don't know.

But there are enough people who still like enough her that proper exploitation/promotion will make money.

Are you kidding?  One of my "friends" on FB posted, in all seriousness, how Palin and Ryan would be a great GOP presidential ticket...and this was *last week*.  This was coming some someone who legitimately thinks they are more informed than most people and that anyone who doesn't think Obama is pretty much evil incarnate is stupid.  They are constantly posting countless links to Breitbart and similar sites.  It's illusory superiority at its finest.  My mouse cursor will hover over the "delete/hide friend" button but I never press it choosing instead to watch out of morbid fascination.

I completely agree. The Republican Party would be foolish not to support Sarah Palin. She has a faithful following in more populous states than Alaska, Utah, for example. She could do appearances at Scheels holding a rifle on the Ferris Wheel. I've said too much.

Sarah got $15 per spoken word at Fox. I assume Good Morning America could pay Sarah a little less per word, but let her interview some sports stars and/or rapists and then we would enjoy more of the real Sarah.

If I understand AOP's post, that is not his point. I am sure he can speak for himself. As I understood his post, Sarah Palin was chosen by McCain because she was cute, overtly sexual and appealed to older men. There was no other reason for her selection besides her "I would sleep with you" girl next door attitude, much to his regret.

As long as I live, I will never understand not just Palin, but other MENSA members reading teleprompter jokes from a...teleprompter. While there are many examples of TeaPublicans taking an extremely cynical and low view of their voters, this one particularly irritates me.

"You know, maybe we shouldn't read that joke off a teleprompter,"said the one man in the room with two brain cells to rub together.

*brief silence, followed by exploding laughter*

"AAAAAAAhahahahahahah. You think these people are gonna notice? Palin won't. Why should they?"

sort of
A Democrat before seeking elective office, Bloomberg switched his party registration in 2001 to run for mayor as a Republican. He defeated opponent Mark Green in close election held just weeks after the 9/11 attacks.  Bloomberg won a second term in 2005 and left the Republican Party two years later. He campaigned to change the city's term limits law in the wake of the 2008 Financial crisis and was elected to his third term in 2009 as an indepent on the Republican ballot line.

Looks like a political opportunist.

There are still literally millions of Americans who think this woman should be the leader of the free world and commander of the most fearsome military on the planet.

Think about that for a moment. Then go scampering into the trees gibbering like you just read an advance of her Christmas book.

The only button this woman should have her finger on is the one that hits "SEND" on her application to be a guest on Maury for his "My husband loves his husky more than me" special.
