I fail to see a problem here.

It's all because they forced Rummy to replace those no-armored Humvees.

But as long we cut funding for the NEA it all evens out, right?

Replace the word "war" with "clusterf**k". It makes the financial report look better.

I can list the problems.

1) you believed those chuckle-nuts

2) you were lies to....a lot.

3) the people who designed this travesty are still breathing free air. The politicians made insane money,  and the journalists are still employed to be stupid and wrong. He'll, some have been promoted over this.

1) War

2) In Iraq

3) Will pay for itself

Iraq had hundreds of billions of dollars stashed away under Saddam's palace. They could easily afford their own re-construction. The hard part was finding it. They knew it was there, just had to dig it up.

Check mate, libbos.

Don't forget the graft. No bid contracts to Halliburton for things they never accomplished. But that's not a scandal. Obama's birf cerfiticate is a scandal.

This is not a surprise. Buchanan has always been against the war. He's an isolationist.

And it wasn't even really a war. It was a war for about 20 minutes. For the next decade it was an occupation. They never even called Korea or Viet Nam a war and a shiatton more people were killed there than in Iraq or Afghanistan. Now everything is a war.

War on drugs
War on terror
War on poverty
War on christmas
War on women
War on entitlements
War on guns

Thats enough.  Yeah, its a method to project agency to external forces and to promote the ingroup as under siege.  problem is, it creates a blindness for the agency of  the ingroup to cause creations for these problems.

I mean, thing about it, Mugato.  Just how hard is it for Americans to look at themselves on their own actions that contribute to a war on (X), if they are a person who believes in the ingroup thats under siege by this threat?  Agency is external with these people.  Those guys are merely objects to be acted upon in their worldview, yet they are often the "tough guy" conservatives who hold these conflicting points of view.

Its not as much as everything is a war, but its a method to project agency to external subjects and to promote the ingroup as under siege.

No, we had to cut PBS and Planned Parenthood, too, to bring it to 0.00005%* of the necessary funding needed to pay for the war.

i'm sure the fark deficit hawks will be along shortly to join in the piling on....

Wait, did we have to buy the Iraqis the rose petals to throw at soldiers' feet as they marched into Baghdad? 'Cause that's like 4.1 trillion right there

4 Trillion in interest on the next 40 years?

That's 6 Trillion which wasn't on the books until Obummer put it there.  That's 6 trillion more that you libs are now responsible for.  Why do you keep doing bookkeeping and adding on more debt and then expect me to pay more taxes?

But, please, keep voting GOP!!!! They've totally changed, baby, they didn't mean to hurt you, they just did it because they really love you SO MUCH!!!

If you can keep voting Republican after this, you're no better than the typical battered wife on COPS who doesn't have the self-esteem to have him taken away.

The Bush Administration, headquartered in Tel Aviv.  Goy blood for Zionist wars.

2013-03-19 02:21:39 PM
Bush administration telling lies about the war in Iraq?!?

Aside from Curveball, Chalahbi, forged Niger documents, "sexed up intel", "fixed intel", details in the Downing St Memos, "we know where they are", "mushroom cloud in 45 minutes", stuff Al-Libi had tortured out of him about Saddam and Osama being bestest buddies, mobile chem labs, aluminium tubes that were totally absolutely for sure going to be used for long-range missile launches, perjury in the Plame matter, "greeted as liberators", the staged tearing down of the Saddam statue, and the insistence that the war would pay for itself...aside from that, the Bush administration was always totally forthright and honest about every aspect of that war.

I'm kinda shocked to hear that they were less than truthful.

(the sun came up this morning?  I'm kinda shocked by that too)
(water is wet?  I'm kinda shocked by that too)

Yeah, typical government lies. Anyone who lies like that for political gain should be impeached, put in jail and publicly flogged.

Anyhoo, is anyone's medical insurance affordable yet? Donna Brazile and I both saw major price increases, so someone must be making a mistake, because it says "affordable" right there in the name of the law.

2013-03-19 02:28:37 PM
Thanks Mom, thanks Dad. I'll be right around retirement age when we finally pay off these wars (under timeline in TFA).

I'm glad we all feel like they were so worthwhile.

We have no evidence Bush had an affair.  Why impeach?

You might want to wait for the ACA to take effect before you judge.

But at least in Iraq we accomplished:
We got those behind 9/11in iraq
Stopped their Nuclear program that they were about to use nukes on the US
Got rid of their WMDs stock piles
Installed a D

Yeah. about that.
