Chevrolet never built the 1954 Corvette Nomad wagon that Harley Earl built for General Motors' Motorama traveling road show, but ever since a few hearty after-market designers have attempted to graft a taller hatch onto the Vette's rear flanks to form a proper two-door shooting brake often with questionable results.

Not bad at all. I've not been that impressed with the looks of the C7, but I *do* like that.

I won't be buying a regular Vette, let alone that body kit, but I do like the look (and the increased utility would also make it a very livable vehicle for long trips).

I like how they refer to it as a shooting brake as opposed to a golfing brake as is traditional.

Having a van and Pinto restored like those in that picture would be absolutely awesome.  My first car was a 76 Pinto wagon that was bright orange with blue and white panel stripes running down the length of it.  Awesome car, until some dumb coont in a giant Cadillac rear ended me and destroyed the thing.
