"Party of Personal Responsibility"

The GOP used to be so good at spreading myths, that they persist to this day, despite mounds of evidence to the contrary.  What happened to you guys?

Obama won

Weren't they the same people who, back in the GOP primaries, said Romney was the liberalest liberal who ever liberaled and his Taxachusetts soshulism was like doing an upper-decker in Reagan's toilet?

Of course, after the primary suddenly Romney was getting high-fived by Washington and Lincoln while jumping his monster truck, the Freedom Crying Eagle, over Ted Nugent and Grover Norquist forcing Nancy Pelosi to eat hummus made entirely of Communist buttholes.

ORCA in there? Yep.

Good, let them keep blaming it on everything but their own statements and policy proposals. It will make it even easier to defeat their 19th Century asses next time.

That 47% video helped a little

Oh come on, subby, I have it on good authority that Romney signed every one of his letters "Human emotions, Mitt Romney."  What more do you want?

The media played a very big role in that,"

Yeah, "The Media" shoved its hand up Romney's ass and made him say a bunch of stupid shiat and that made him not get elected.

"I think Hurricane Sandy had a lot to do with it," said Lacey Bensing, a 17-year old Romney volunteer from Pennylvania. That, she said, and "voter fraud."

Well, you're a 17 year old girl and not expected to not be stupid.

And you're from Pennylvania, which has to suck, being non-existent and all.

That and the Media just stopped calling Romney out on his blatant bullshiat to make it a horserace. So yes, the media was conspiring but not in the way they think

They got his hopes up, by reporting that it was a close race.  That was just cruel, and they let Shelly spend all that money on him, thinking it was doing some good.

Well, whatever chance they might have had was blown when Rmoney bought into the "skewed polls" nonsense and started blowing that money in states that they didn't have a chance in hell of winning, like Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.

Fox News won the coin toss, decided to move forward with the propaganda, regardless of whether actual voters knew better.

I ran out of gas. I... I had a flat tire. I didn't have enough money for cab fare. My tux didn't come back from the cleaners. An old friend came in from out of town. Someone stole my car. There was an earthquake. A terrible flood. Locusts! IT WASN'T MY FAULT, I SWEAR TO GOD!

Could it be that people could actually read economic trending data and realize sh*t did in fact get better in 4 years despite what the derposphere told them?

I have to admit the "openly lie every single chance you get and dare the press to call you on it" strategy was more successful than I thought it would be.

/When someone on his own campaign compared his pivot towards the center as "shaking the etch-a-sketch," it was pretty much downhill from there.
//Sure, every candidate gets a little closer to the center after the primaries, but Romney tried to completely refudiate the hardcore stances he pretended to have in the primaries.

d) Touting of Reaganism as ideal public policy, despite the fact that it's proven to be an abstract failure for 90% of Americans over the last 30 years.

There is no way in this world Obama could have won without help from the media, including help in two of the debates, and Biden getting help during the VP debate. After the first debate, you know, the one where the moderator just let the candidates present ideas and debate their merits... That would be the one Obama lost... The media went in to double overtime on being in the tank for Obama and it became clear what we were in store for at the VP debate.

MSM: "Rescue Obama Objectivity Be Damned" had begun.

The response to Sandy was just as much of a clusterfark as Katrina was but you'd certainly never know it from the media coverage.

Was there a point in time where they actually practiced personal responsibility as a widely-applied lifestyle? I'm not talking about Ike here, this is about the party as a whole. Because if they did I missed it.

Personally, I don't understand why someone would vote for a trust fund baby that tells them they are just a bunch of moochers.

It worries me that you post this. Not because you actually believe it. But because, as with all threadsh*tter derp, someone out there does.

And that person's world must be a dark and scary place, where Muslims and black people lurk around corners and not even Jesus can protect you from their evil ways, because if America isn't capitalist enough Jesus can't return from Heaven on waves of freedom.

For some reason, your tags are more prolix than most.
