51. John Cena defeats the Rock for WWE Title (XXIX)

sno man: Seriously, only fifty?

I had about 25 more I'd considered. I was sad that I had excluded Steve Allen's commentary at WrestleMania VI

I don't mind Trips standing tall at the end of Wrestlemania 2000/XVI. Heels should be able to win in main events at Wrestlemania, otherwise they're predictable (and this is coming from someone who hated Trips as a performer)...but that's the only one I don't agree with

11. The Rock as host (XXVII)

WWE's ass-kissing of big stars was in full force in 2011. Rock hosts the big show, gets a 10-15 minute promo to start the show, has a horrid segment with PeeWee Herman, and beats up both main eventers to stand tall at the end. Only the current WWE could make you hate The Great One.

This had me yelling pissed off at the screen.  Was I supposed to cheer this?  He came in and beat up both the heel and the face just to give himself a reason to be the center of attention.  Just like Hogan did against Yokozuna.

List should have included Shawn Jobbing to John Cena at WM 23.  Shawn deserved on more title run and instead we had more Cena getting shoved down our throats.  Which will be the same scene at WM 29.

Seriously? 3 moments from Wrestlemania XV but no Bart Gunn vs. Butterbean Brawl for All? Now that was an abomination.

/And Wrestlemania XV wasn't the worst major PPV I've ever been to. That was the 1991 Royal Rumble
//At least I also went to Wrestlemania X8, which turned out to be pretty good

Poor Bart.  He KO'd the guy the Brawl for All was designed to put over and they fed him to Butterbean as punishment.  And that Rumble, God it was barely above a SNME.

Anyone remember WM14 when the D-X Band played the National Anthem at the beginning of the show? Mean Gene was wayyyyy better than that.

OK, got through the list.  Really can't complain and Number 1 is spot on.  IIRC nobody was as over as Hart at that point and putting the most out of shape wrestler in the company in the main event was a move so incomprehensible I still have trouble believing they did it.  Then following it up with a 20 second squash just so Vince could keep Hogan out of WCW, yeesh.

Pretty any WrestleMania since 2007, amirite?

Oh, also:

I didn't mind it. It took five minuets out of a 4 hour show.

Remember kids, we realize that professional wrestling is a television show/entertainment program, just like a top-rated sitcom or whatever the hell a Honey Boo Boo is would be. We care about what happens in our show, just like people care what happens in Walking Dead or who Lena Dunham sleeps with next in Girls. The thing is, we're okay with that. Trolls come, trolls go, and frankly I appreciate your willingness to attempt to get a rise out of people you come across on the internet. There is no stronger man than the man who seeks out others on the internet and disparages them for his own pleasure. Bravo.

But then again, I'm not telling you anything you don't already know.

Last year's Wrestlemania was sh*t. Did people memory-wipe the Flo-Rida and Kevin Rudolf bullsh*t that sucked up 20 minutes, and happened right before the main event? I didn't.

Wrestlecrap is right about 17 Seconds, you know. One guy is still being booked like he's a god, and the other is a midcard comedy act.

I assume every movie or tv show you watch is real to you? No? Then why does wrestling have to be real for someone else to enjoy it?

When you can get over yourself long enough to stop being annoyed that some people like things that you do not then you can tell someone else to grow the fark up

Amend that to 12/10, with moderate handicap. You may like shooting fish in a barrel, son, but it's less of a hobby than wrassling watching.

I was at Wrestlemania 13 at the Allstate Arena and I was wondering which moment would make it. Bret & Austin was great, the Chicago street fight with the Road Warriors, not so much.

Eligarf: Man, you boys sure are a hyper-sensitive lot.  Has it ever occurred to you that this may be the reason everyone likes to pick on you so much?  Not because it is easy, but because the response is always so overly melodramatic and predictable.  It hasn't dawned on you that people think it is funny to watch you behave exactly like the actors on your rasslin' sitcom when you get angry?  Really?  Have you that little objectivity when it comes to self-perception?  Or do some of you think that is actually normal human behavior?

Getting "into" a show you like is one thing.  Adopting the characteristics and behaviors of the characters is another thing entirely.  Especially when the show is a live action version of "Wrestling My Little Pony".

Ah, Chester McCheeserton. Another fine idea brought to you from the fertile mind of Al Snow Vince Russo. It was a stinker among bad moments in the worst Wrestlemania of the Attitude Era.

However, Butterbean vs. Bart Gunn was teh hawesome! :)

No because we are aware that posting in a thread of a subject you claim to not care about or like is the new "compensating for a small penis" thing these days.

Not because it is easy, but because the response is always so overly melodramatic and predictable.

Actually I find people posting "it's all fake HURR DURR" to be much more predictable since there is always someone to post that exact thing in every wrestling thread.

It hasn't dawned on you that people think it is funny to watch you behave exactly like the actors on your rasslin' sitcom when you get angry?  Really?  Have you that little objectivity when it comes to self-perception?  Or do some of you think that is actually normal human behavior?

You really shouldn't go into the entertainment tab then kiddo. Your world view may get squashed a bit. While we're on the subject of objectivity when it comes to self-perception you may also want to look in a mirror sometime. I mean, if I felt the need to to go full derp in any thread that did not interest me just to "pick on" the people there as you put it, I think I might need to do some self evaluation.

To sum up, get over yourself.

I distinctly remember the Triple H/Shawn Michaels main event from XX where Trips had a seizure of some kind in the middle of the ring and the title was mysteriously vacated immediately afterward. From what I remember, he looked as if he was being choked out by a ghost of some kind.
