Can you dig it

basemetal: Careful not to send it through D.C., they'll try to destroy it./The item you've requested, http://www.chron.com/news/article/Cyrus-the-Great-artifact-on-first-U - S-tour-4360359.php, was not found.
Lsherm: I imagine it looks pretty cool. I could tell it look pretty cool if the link worked.
SpdrJay: So they had the right to bare arms then too?
J. Frank Parnell: Probably worth noting "freedom of worship" meant people could go on to worship pagan gods like Moloch by burning their children alive as offerings. Babylon was so wrong to deny those people basic religious freedoms. Truly, toppling such religious oppression was a great moment for humanity.
StoPPeRmobile: We offer are children to the highway bloob god, every day.
GAT_00: That's Sumer, not Babel.
ringo2: 3 - Given the shape, I'd bet it was intended as a platen - to be rolled over clay or wax to form an imprint.
GAT_00: 2wolves: L. Bob Rife has declined to comment. That's Sumer, not Babel. Pretty much the same story, but different cultures.
Harry_Seldon: I expect a raft of jokes on this theme

way south: Xai: America, the very place that Human rights come to die./Guantanamo bay//TSA///Legal to be held without trial indefinitely[dl.dropbox.com image 633x344]I think in the grand scheme of things, we could be doing alot worse than most of the world. The problem being that our legislators read 1984 like it's a Goddamned instruction manual and are currently trying to mimic how more troubled nations treat their populaces. Its the nature of a politician to do what is easiest and personally profitable, and its easier to make a pile of restrictive laws and profit from it. Working through issues on human rights and foreign policy eats into the lobbying time.Their real job, insuring the peoples freedom in light of all of the troubles it might cause, has proven too difficult for them.
J. Frank Parnell: StoPPeRmobile: We offer are children to the highway bloob god, every day.Probably a typo of blood, but i'm going to pretend it was supposed to be boob.
dennysgod: Xai: America, the very place that Human rights come to die./Guantanamo bay//TSA///Legal to be held without trial indefinitelyYou really need to get out of the basement if you think what's happening in Gitmo is the worst example of human rights violation in the world.
jfarkinB: [IRONIC] tag still in indefinite detention?
unlikely: "In the U.S., it's being shown with one of President Thomas Jefferson's copies of "Cyropaedia," a book by Greek historian Xenophon about the philosophies of Cyrus, to illustrate how the Persian king inspired America's founding fathers."CoolThat was the first full book we had to read for greek class.
