He was suspended for the 2009 season after a car he was driving struck and killed a pedestrian in South Florida that March. He spent 24 days in jail for a DUI manslaughter conviction.

No, the inanimate object that struck the pedestrian was being piloted by Donte Stallworth, so, to put it correctly, Donte Stallworth killed that guy. And he apparently has the temerity to think that one of his future life choices is balloon rides. "Yo, Donte, we killed a guy. We still good going on a balloon ride?" "Yeah, brain, we're good. We did a Stallworth, we've paid our dues."

Hey, ease up.  Every pass he caught last year was a touchdown.

Not saying it makes Stallworth innocent, but the pedestrian was jaywalking in the middle of the night across an unlit street.

On top of it, a causeway.

That's like someone crossing I-95.

And Stallworth slept it off; just drank enough that he still had some in his system when he woke up the next morning. I don't have a problem with jaywalking, but it's imperative at all times that you realize that you have no protection and everyone in a car will kill you if they're not paying attention (90% of drivers at one time or another). So you need to run your ass across the street and make sure you're not counting on someone to slow down for you.
