crotchgrabber: I'm glad there's a thread for this race. Can't watch the first eight hours as I'm stuck at work. Which really sucks as I'm supposed to be at volunteer orientation for Laguna Seca today. Also quite happy that I get to attend both a Grand Am and ALMS race this year. The unification will be good for American sports car racing, but I really doubt we'll be able to keep two races in 2014. If there's a feed today I would be eternally thankful to whoever points me in the right direction.
PackRat24: The rest of the ALMS season will be on ESPN3, no worries. What should be interesting though is next season. With the merger comes a new TV contract...means new bidding...maybe some new faces. My guess though is that it will be between ABC/ESPN and FOX again.
fatalvenom: I got you a thread, and a feed.I've done my good deed for the day
crotchgrabber: You're a gentleman and a scholar. Unfortunately, my cow orker who spends way too much time on facebook and youtube got a lot of stuff blocked. First Row among the blocked sites. At least I'll catch the end of it tonight.
Broktun: I'm at work. What time will the race be finished?
mikaloyd: Im watching this for now but my heart is in another Florida race today. Daytona 200
DrHST: Delta Wing in the garage already?!?!? Damn you Batmobile!
seelorq: DrHST: Delta Wing in the garage already?!?!? Damn you Batmobile!:(I hope they fix the dropped cylinder. I love watching that thing.
ski9600: Stuck at work. I hope my TIVO is getting this one!/pretty sure I set it up.
Mikey1969: LOL, I initially read that as '12 hours of sleeping', and thought I was a natural to win it.
mikaloyd: Melissa Parish is running 10th at the Daytona 200. With a broken leg.
crotchgrabber: Speed.com just put up their three hour recap. Two minutes of excitement! This channel has given up, haven't they?
thetrenchcoat: I've been to Sebring. You couldn't get me to spend 12 minutes there let alone 12 hours.
JSam21: NBC Sports F1 coverage already seems better than Speed's
fatalvenom: thetrenchcoat: I've been to Sebring. You couldn't get me to spend 12 minutes there let alone 12 hours.I've raced the track many times (it's 2 hours from my house) and while Sebring itself isn't great, the track is awesome and full of history.
ski9600: What's this about speed.com employees being unemployed in August? Was there some announcement?
crotchgrabber: JSam21: NBC Sports F1 coverage already seems better than Speed'sI concur. Went to my dads with some of his buddies to watch practice the other night. We all agree that beer is good and NBC Sports does it better than Speed.fatalvenom: thetrenchcoat: I've been to Sebring. We've been lucky enough at Seca to get some decent backing to upgrade some of our facilities, although the building I work in is older than the track and used to be a weapons depot or some shiat for the firing range on old Fort Ord. Supposed to get a new one next off season. A friend who now works at Road America says the facilities there are absolute garbage compared to Laguna.
mikaloyd: Klaus you retard
mikaloyd: Corvette vs Viper
WhyteRaven74: Is NBC covering the postponed qualifying for the F1 race? And if so, when?
desertgeek: They were already scheduled to re-air qualifying starting 90 minutes before race coverage. They'll just be showing the re-scheduled Q2 and Q3 then.
crotchgrabber: mikaloyd: Corvette vs ViperBeautiful words. Wish I could see it.Speed just put up the halfway point high lights.
