shifty lookin bleeder: # number no.# nono
Corvus: In before annoying guy announces how he doesn't use facebook.
This Looks Fun: Ennuipoet: #AsshatshavebeendoingitanywayIt's true. I actually saw people adding a hashtag to something like #thirstythursday before I knew what a hashtag was.
TopoGigo: This Looks Fun: Ennuipoet: #AsshatshavebeendoingitanywayIt's true. I actually saw people adding a hashtag to something like #thirstythursday before I knew what a hashtag was.Stupid kids. It's called Blursday.

TopoGigo: Mad_Radhu: #susanalbumpartyI've never tried an anal bump. I've had a key bump, and a pinky-nail bump, but never an anal bump. Why would it be arty, though?
Fluorescent Testicle: My sister used a hashtag in a text the other day. If it was possible to punch somebody through the phone...
RY28: Isn't a "hashtag" just a number sign ?
VvonderJesus: Matt Stafford will be excited to hear this.
JosephFinn: Ad. Addddddds. Are those things people without filters see?
Anthracite: Oh people have been doing this all over FB for a while. I can't understand why.
Bonanza Jellybean: Just wait until they get into meme arrows./ducks
balisane: I do it accidentally because I usually crosspost to FB from my Twitter client. Don't see why you would do it otherwise... until now.
Skr: Wait, those are hash tags and not little Tic-Tac-Toe boards?
Can I buy some pot from you: Facebook is for attention whores and whore whores.
parahaps: I totally get and share the annoyance over hashtags in nonhashtaggable areas. But... how is it really different from slashies?
Ima4nic8or: I don't get it. Why would this matter? Keep in mind that I so far have never used facebook or twitter.
WinoRhino: parahaps: I totally get and share the annoyance over hashtags in nonhashtaggable areas. But... how is it really different from slashies?THIS. Slashies started as a little HTML joke. Someone would write a long-winded rant and end it with /rant to signify they were done ranting about it and turning it off. Or perhaps /sarcasm to signal to others the above text was not to be taken literally. But now, like hastags, its simply become a useless parenthetical where people write all sorts of elaborations and useless meaningless garbage and commentary. So yeah-- people in this thread who think hashtags are dumb but use slashies in a Fark thread should just shoot themselves for being hypocritical jackasses.
fusillade762: gameshowhost: #5882300empireDammit, now I have that jingle in my head.
Doubleodoug: so when discussing the hashtag do we mark posts as ##?
natmar_76: #hate your stupid ass @symbols, jackasses
theodopolis13: you forgot the '/rant' at the end of your post.
meanmutton: There are a couple differences - Slashies are part of Fark culture, people put spaces in them, and fark Twitter
