Oh, for fark's sake, this is the NFL.  It's a business.  Your contract's up, your contract's up.  The team will be more than happy to cut you lose the moment you're no longer able to play at a high enough level; you'd be stupid not to treat them with the exact same level of loyalty.  Get as much money as you possibly can, playing for whomever you can.

yeah, if you're loyal to him as a fan then let him get one last giant pay day with a clean conscience.  He gave you 13 seasons, you can forgive him for 1 or 2.

I was okay with Favre leaving, how he handled it was the shiatty part.
