(BBC)   For the first time in 17 years, there will be no English clubs in the quarterfinals of the Champions League. But it's OK, because finishing in 4th place in this year's English Premier League is a bigger deal anyway   ( divider line

FireZs: Cajnik: You want something weird, tune into Fenerbache - Plzen. It's being played in an empty stadium

For what, racist fans?

Not news: Fans throw road flares onto the field. Solution: Ban home fans from entering the stadium. Fark: Fans parachute signal flares over the stadium walls, onto the field

Spurs are Spursing it up in this game. Playing a high line, but continuously getting burned by it. Also giving the ball away in midfield and wasting scoring chances with a totally ineffective forward up top (Adebayor) leads me to believe it will be quite iffy for them to go through. Less than 20 minutes to hold on though...

I'll just stop talking now and I'll be over here if you need me...

Two English teams performed as well as any Scottish team in the Champions League this year. So they do have that going for them. Well done.

FourDirections: The Muthaship: mikaloyd: Its not about winning its about playing fair and having fun

And orange slices at half time!

And maybe mom will take us out for pizza after the game if we tried really hard!

Remember that one kid that always showed up dirty, and his mom always "forgot" when it was their turn to bring the juice boxes for after the game?

I hate that kid.
