tigerose: News flash! our dear  Harukois in the hospital! Something not so good about her gallbladder. Not many details, just the post on FB. Gah she didn't say which hosp. she is in! Can anyone help?

Does anyone know if she has insurance?  Do we need to try to raise a little cash for her?  I would hate for her to worry about bills while she tries to heal.

RadicalEd: I asked several weeks ago about moving water fountains for the kitties, but I haven't picked one up yet. They still have access to their toilet/tub/water bowl options, but the newest thing is to jump into the sink while I'm getting ready for work. I've been teasing them by turning the water on slightly, which Tola loves now that she's figured out how to drink from it. Anytime I'm in that bathroom becomes a "Tola water time nao?".

I had recommended a Drinkwell fountain, but I can also sympathize with the faucet drinking ... Although Dragon does not wait until I'm in the bathroom, he will call me when he wants a drink...

And since photofarkit is still claiming it can't find the video link (that they provided), let's see if I can get this up on YouTube...

Medicaid I think. She is happy, cause they gave her a nicotine patch. Says she'd quit if medicaid paid for patches! Wow. Right now she is feeling really alone. And I am not so sure she is understanding what is going on..meds...she says thanks to the well wishers. I think it made her very happy.

Another linkie. Had one on black footed ferrets, the wild endangered kind rather than who live at BBBBs'; miscopied or something, because it declined to link. That was in online March sending from WildLifeOrg or similar. Long tail/tale short, they're doing better.
Not these guys, they're cared for even tho dressed funny.

Our cats didn't like the fountain for some reason. The Tortie loves the sink and will hop in and interrupt my brushing at least twice a day, even the ever bashful Louie will hop in from time to time. (which is a phrase I can't say without thinking of C3PO.)

The kitties, at least Zara and Theo, are missing their pup, so are cuddled up napping in the big dog cage kitty playroom.

Usually Zara is the one to groom all the other critters, so it's odd to see Theo grooming her...
i903.photobucket.com

Theo seems to need comfort - must miss Fozzie more than I thought he would...
i903.photobucket.com

Dinah just don't care - she is curled up on the arm of my chair, with my right arm draped over her purring and somehow managing to fill my nose and eyes with her fur!  She does not miss Fozzie.  She's probably gonna be disappointed when he comes back in a couple weeks!

Blurry cell phone pics, but I couldn't reach the real camera without disturbing Dinah, and those are the Fozzie's toys they're laying on - silly kitties!

When we got snow on the 5th of this month, Fozzie and I were at work at the Shelter, and got stuck there.  After a 36 hour shift that included lots of shoveling and several upset residents (um, sorry - no power means that the computers won't turn on) I opted to NOT go to the office when I got home that morning, instead my zoo and I went to bed for a long winter's nap...

At the time Gremie moved in I had a copper water fountain that was a planter. It had artificial plants because Baby used to bury her cookies in the potted plants. After Gremie started drinking from the fountain I boxed it up because I wasn't sure if the copper would make him sick and it wasn't made with pets in mind. The fountain is now in a box taking up space in the basement , I don't know if I'll ever get rid of it or give it to my niece the next time she asks for it.
Gremie does have his own water dish but he prefers to use the dog's water dish and if it's empty he will push it into the living room to let me know it needs to be refilled.

sherpa's YouTube of Dragon, it appeared, drinking from faucet for :13 worked quite well. Own YouTube acct is another thing needs fixed; appeared to lose it when Gurgle bought YouTube, but my old ID still shows up.  Somewhat resembles the Tech Issues had with Haruko_'s etsy shop for a week now.

Dragon was obviously asking for a warm towel after his drink. Did you get that?

Biscuit and Mia are into water from the bathtub faucet. Wolf and Nate prefer the water we keep in the bedroom.
Biscuit puts his eye up to the faucet 'looking' for water. He's smart in some ways, but ass over tin cups stupid in others.
