Ah, Google to the rescue. Not often do you see/hear the accordian in a piece of music. Neat. And yes, I don't listen to a great deal of "modern" music..I am stuck around Handel's time...

I thought it was a very cat like song in sound and lyrics. Also, random google searches can be scarring. I think I quit for a while. I did find a few gems though:

syzygy whizz: May we please haz some 'homing mojo' for D'Artagnan?
He's gone AWOL and I'm getting worried(er).

Raven and I got home from work Thursday morning, got mobbed by Wimsey and Riktor, called for D'Artagnan.
Way down the street, black flash caught my eye.
Focus...and my beautiful panther boy was running down the street towards home.
Said "Hi!"...then his attention was caught by something else and he went to check it out.

Didn't want to stand in the door all day while he was being a cat, so I went inside, figuring he'd come in the window when he was ready.
My next-door neighbor on the east side is an auto repair business, so I think D'Artagnan may have gotten into an interesting-smelling car... and gone for a ride he wasn't expecting.

I've been looking and calling for him, had the neighbors check their outbuildings, put an ad in the paper and called the animal shelter.

Been meaning to get him chipped again (he ditched the first one somehow)...but on his return he will become a cyber-cat as soon as I can get him to the Sainted Vet.

Come home, baby-kitty...I don't handle 'business trips' well.  :'-(

Happened to me Easter Sunday 2010. Simba (pictured) wanted to go out. It was a nice day; winter was essentially over (I'd have to back to find the date; why does Easter bounce all over the calendar, anyway?) and she never came back. She had been losing some weight, and as a rescue kitteh I'm unsure of her age...probably 13 or 14. She never came home. Broke my heart.

I, for one, am shocked - SHOCKED! - that you were unaware that even metal head types have been known to mosh with an accordion from time to time. You can bump it to "frequently" if they're the European types. Violins, too. Then again, most of those guys have had classical music training as well as having more than a passing familiarity with traditional music and instruments. Why, even I have a training accordion! (I really suck at it, though) I'm getting better with the seljefløyte, but I really don't see myself getting all happy awesome with any instrument, let alone difficult to play traditional ones and then double or triple timing it to make it "metal". Still, even the classics are very much alive today, and not just with people who prefer them in their original forms. There are metal versions of classical music and classically remade versions of metal songs - and original works that are a combination of classical, folk and metal.

Creativity refuses to be stifled by a lack of accordions!

John Buck 41 I sometimes wonder if our kittehs know that it is time to cross over, and they leave us. No goodbyes. Just disappearing into the mist..gone, but never forgotten. If only they knew how we long to share their exit. Providing love, until the final breath and purr..

I iz jealous. I bought some shrimp the other day, took a nap and when I woke up - it was GONE! My sister was as well, so I know where that shrimp went - right over to my sister's friend's house. GRRRR! I'd love to join you for some General Tso's Shrimp. I was going to do a lime and chipotle quick marinade with mine. It's one of my favorite flavor combinations - lime or spice or both with pretty much anything! tee-hee!

Good Caturday weekend to everyone.  Sick week here at the B4 house.  Came down with the crud that my daughter so wonderfully gave me after getting sick all over me on Sunday night.  Finally able to breathe without feeling like I have a ventilator on my face.  But the two big pieces of news this week are first, Mrs. B4 celebrated her 39th on Tuesday with a day at the spa followed by a meal at her favorite diner.  But that was sandwiched between the spa visit, and the arrival of Papaya.  He/she (still not sure of the sex yet, but I'm leaning towards she) quickly entered the aquarium we had set up and hid.  Its been moving around some, eating a little, and already started to shed, so I'm guessing things are going well so far.  We've kept him isolated in the aquarium so far, and took off all the newspaper we had wrapped around the outside so we wouldn't overstimulate it.  Now everything is open, and the cats are kind of indifferent towards it, but the ferrets are going insane trying to climb up the outside to see what's in there.  Anyway, happy Caturday everyone and say hello to Papaya.
