Enrico Colantoni was the best part of the show. He's also the best part of "Person of Interest", on the rare occasions he makes an appearance.

EyeballKid: I heard somewhere that our economy is farked. If this much disposable income is available, I may have to start doubting that.

Generally, those claiming 'there's no money' don't want you to notice where it all went.

Mrs. Samurai kicked in at the $200 autograph package - and then emailed to ask if she could get Kristen to autograph her stuffed sloth.

I've tried real hard to watch Person of Interest, but holy cow Michael Emerson must have graduated from the Jeffrey Donovan School of Minimalist Acting.  Donovan pulls it off; the jury is still out on Emerson.

/love the dog, though

A Kickstarter campaign to fund a 30 minute porno of Kristen Bell getting her fart box tongue punched would have raised 50x that in half the time.

So, a thread comes down where we can all remember this,
resources3.news.com.au

And all some of you can think of is "Bu, bu, bu, but FIREFLY!"

It's over, guys. Move on.

Season 3 ended as such a downer. And you can see every little story line set up for the following season and it just never happened.

Dear Hollywood: we're serious when we say we'll throw money at these projects. Now do you believe us?

And yet the Uncle Ruckus movie couldn't even get $200k.  Weak.

This makes me wanna pop in "Reefer Madness: The Movie Musical" and see her ripping her top off and turning into a dominatrix...

ExperianScaresCthulhu: Are those Obama style $5 donations, or Romney style $5000/$50,000 donations (makes a difference)?

When I checked last night, it had just crossed the 40,000 backers mark, and was jumping in $50-$100 increments.

They're not going to believe you as long as nerds clog up message boards talking about torrenting movies and TV shows.
They're only interested in marketing movies to paying customers, i.e. teenage girls and nostalgic middle aged folks. Thus, all the Twilight flicks and remakes.

I may be in the minority here, but I find Kristen Bell to be fairly attractive.

There was an Uncle Ruckus kickstarter and I wasn't informed? I'd have dropped $200k on that easy.

No.  Folks claiming there's no money, are folks who don't have disposable income.  It's great if you do.  It's sh*tty if you don't.  When things are sh*tty but people are telling you it's all sunshine and rainbows ...... that's worse.

I know, but this is at least a start.  They don't realize it but the correct response is not to attack and criminalize those people, but engage them.

Yeah, they did a real shiatty job promoting it.  It only made it to $110k.  It was a live action movie with the voice actor of Ruckus playing him in real life.  The thing is he actually LOOKED like Ruckus.  I really hope it is able to get some other funding because it was a great idea.

Movies, certainly.  Star Trek came back after as long a break.  Well, unless you count the cartoon.  Firefly had Serenity, though...  it's probably moot, but still.

Please tell me you don't actually think the people who watched and enjoyed the original of something are the target audience for the remakes.

/$2,750,658 as I post this - holy crap, people loved that show

For those deciding whether or not to watch it, it's a fun mystery show that is not a procedural and is wildly smarter than most shows set in a high school or college.

But...   How quickly do you burn out on worldy-wise kids?  This girl isn't Buffy or Willow smart, she's Author Insert smart.  She's not as instant, rapid-fire about it as Sherlock on Elementary but it's damn close.

It's a good show, and if they ever marathon it on some day when the house needs cleaning or I'm home with the flu I'll probably re-watch it. But I'm not too excited about a movie and other than the fact it'd be nice if they went out on their own terms, I'm okay with how long it lasted.

/first season was the best, if you want to catch something on Netflix

I just want them to actually show the new season of Boondocks, plus I'd donate if it was a live action Boondocks, Ruckus only works in balanced dosages.

FishyFred: Hebalo: ilikeracecars: I watched season one, loved it. Tried to watch season two, and realized it had told it's story already. Some stories were meant to end.

Oh son, you have no idea what you missed.

He did not hear the bells.

They rang joyful and triumphant.

Late to the party, but watch Kristen Bell in the "Deadwood" episodes "Bullock Returns to the Camp" and "Suffer the Little Children".

THIS is why I watched "Veronica Mars", and it did not disappint.

You know - If our society would put half as much emphasis on moving forward as it would watching TV, we'd have a teleporter by now instead of a veronica mars movie.
