I just remember the one guy stomping up to the main desk absolutely furious. He banged on the desk, demanding a room change that couldn't happen because we were at capacity, but wouldn't happen because he was an asshole. The reason why he needed the room change? His ground floor room faced the parking lot and he couldn't walk around naked with the curtains open. Sorry bro, your freedom to air your genitals to nature isn't a reason to move your room. Though being the conscientious desk employee that I was, I just suggested that he could still walk around naked with the curtains open if he didn't mind public comment from arriving guests and that the only real difference between the room he had and the one he wanted was that he wanted to feel as though he could wave his genitals at people without them knowing.

He tried to act modest and insulted.

People are absolutely irrational when they're on vacation.

I've read various news reports locally about people being charged with crimes for both exposing the outside world to their nakedness inside the house and for looking at said nakedness from outside on the street. How can both of these things be a crime?

When I got engaged, we were staying at the Fallsview hotel in Niagara on the top floor. Now, we weren't prancing around being exhibitionists or anything, but the first morning after we got there we walked around near the gorge, I looked at the hotel and realized we had definitely better close our curtains. Just hoping no one was looking up at certain moments...
