I found out one of my closest friends was my cousin at his wedding. Ran into my relatives while hitting the buffet. That was a strange day.

Here's a rate for you, fark you. I'm adopted, grew up in a loving, only mildly dysfunctional home. Clearly it wasn't too traumatic as we adopted our oldest son, who would have grown up in poverty and at the hands of a pedaphiliac grandparent. Our son was so torn up about being adopted when he was 18 he got a tattoo that was a symbol of being adopted.

My birthfamily found me and I'm glad they did, I loved them immediately. But if they hadn't my life would have gone on just like everyone else's.
