That was a previously untouched lake to help further our research for life on other planets and specifically the moon Europa.  Thank's for farking it up, assholes.

Somehow, I'm not the least bit surprised

So is there at least a chance that the "contaminates" will animate and kill all the scientists?

contaminants, damn AC

Brainy Russians should stick to tetris and vodka, they're not cut out for science.

I wish I'd mentioned before they broke through that I could see this coming, 'cause then I could have said "I saw this coming."

Russians again.

Can they do anything right these days?

I believe Farkers in an earlier thread raised concerns that this was a possibility when the drilling begun.  Good job, Farkers.

Did they make predictions about the wetness of water? If so, were they correct about the wetness of water?

Ishkur: Russians again.

It's OK. The drill had a dash cam.

But seriously, this would be a comedy of errors if it wasn't so farking sad. So many brilliant scientists in and from Russia. WHY are there also so many dumbfarks?

Not that we don't have our fair share here in the US...

It doesn't matter what they find because if it's not supposed to exist they will be told what they found doesn't exist. Even if it does exist. Cos it's not supposed to. You could have real live aliens show up on every block & the official story will be none of them are real, they're all fake, because every smart sensible skeptic knows for certain that intelligent life in the universe is so magical & rare it will never ever contact humans. Those alien farkers will be in your house, eating your food, raygunning your dog, & some guy will come on TV telling you how stupid you are for thinking they are aliens, you stupid gullible peasant.

In other words, as they were warned would happen, they contaminated the lake and ruined any chance of future research. Thanks for farking up the world, Russian scientists.

The only good thing Russia ever did was halt military advance east over Asia, and even then, the weather did most of it for them.

And Putin just sits back and doesn't give a fark.

You might not have, but I remember the articles when they first started getting close to the lake mentioning that there were a LOT of scientists screaming just that. Russia went for it anyway. Now they have contaminated specimens. Surprise!
