That was absolutely terrible.

If it was made by high-school film and drama students, nice job, kids.

If it was indy-made ironically in the style of high-school film and drama students, meh.

(so, you're into dragons, eh?)

Seconded

It has Ash in it, but she should be making her bank on some Borderlands 2 DLC, not this crap.

2013-03-11 02:24:37 PM
I made it about 10 seconds into it.

Not sure if this is bad, or it nails that CW drama angle that I also hate too perfectly.

Thanks for the warning, folks - that saved me five minutes!

/Works out how to waste the five minutes saved

Now that I'm in my mid-30's, it's sometimes hard for me to distinguish between "that sucked" and "I don't get it." It's always a little bit of a relief when FARK-at-large agrees that something I thought sucked sucked.

Thought the notebook intro was pretty cool.. This probably would have been better if it was just that and nobody was allowed to "act". On the plus side, I never have to watch it again.

What a bunch of jaded, do-nothing, hipster assclowns you are, Fark. Does everything have to be perfect? That was a great concept with a solid (though not spectacular) execution. And the Notebook-Doodle intro alone was worth the watch.

Are you referring to the link or Game of Thrones?

Because I concur. either way.

Too bad, a skit like that could have been really funny. Fail.

2013-03-11 04:24:33 PM
That was awful, except for the GoT and Community themed title sequence.

2013-03-11 04:33:33 PM
I enjoyed it.

Then again, I'm easily entertained.

2013-03-11 04:38:00 PM
Yeah, I'm not sure what there was to hate about it.  Didn't blow me away, but I liked it.

2013-03-11 05:16:32 PM
That's basically what it is anyway.

seven hells that was terrible

It has its hits and misses, like with any parody. I like Stannis and Melisandre being Latter Day-esque and the fact that she is way too hot for him. The cliques idea is funny too as well as the "Prom is coming".

Joffrey needed to be more douchey but he was getting there.

I like the title sequence.
And that's about it.

it's just more proof the kid playing him on the HBO series deserves a farking emmy.

I don't know what CW-like is but I'm assuming its just the current name for the teenager show that teenagers and depressed young-adults watch.  Didn't watch.

CW is the network that replaced WB.  Their lineup is rather heavy on this type of show.

I liked it, and I've never watched Game of Thrones.

2013-03-11 07:43:04 PM
Because that would be dumb.

Drama is drama: it's generally a bunch of petty, shiatty people being petty and shiatty.

/also, shallow and pedantic

YES. Jack Gleeson deserves as much accolades as Peter Dinklage. He has been absolutely stellar and as much fun to hate on as it is to love Tyrion.

I just like the fact that Daenerys was play by Ash from "Hey Ash Whatcha Playing" and the voice of Tiny Tina in Borderlands 2.

Went in with really low expectations and was disappointed.

Great concept with a very high bar for good execution.

Doing a parody of two concepts at once with amateur actors? Good luck, no one is counting on you.

I liked the "Robert" being an obnoxious jock, I must admit.

2013-03-11 11:34:53 PM
I liked it.

"Greyjoy!!!"

"This is serious business, Ginger Stark."

And of course, Mel and Stannis as the HS Christians.

Not exactly high-brow, serious humor, but enjoyable.

2013-03-11 11:35:50 PM
Also, whatever they paid for that title credits sequence, it was totally worth it.

2013-03-12 12:25:39 AM
Better than anything I've seen on CW...

2013-03-12 12:37:12 AM
"Greyjoy" swim team made me chuckle.
