Another super rich hypocrite complaining about other super rich people.

Go back to your 20,000 square foot house and burn your dirty oil money.

Do that and then maybe you can talk without sounding like a tard.

Right, because poor people with something to say often get the opportunity/venue/channel to have their message heard?

So a person can never criticize anything they're a part of to try and exercise change from within? Or does your implied rule only apply to the wealthy? And, out of curiosity, who could possibly be better at accurately identifying and criticizing the flaws of a cohesive economic, social, religious or cultural group than a member of that group who has direct, constant contact with it and an intimate understanding of its inner workings?

It would be nice if you ensured that your historical claims were supported by evidence. There hasn't always *been* a meaningful 1%. There have always been some people who were wealthier than others, but wealth concentration is running extremely high right now by historical standards.

Well, Gore is totally right about the tracking and so on; but what does he propose to do about it? People aren't going to be giving up their Facebook and Google any time soon, I know that; and they're not likely to stop using cell phones or those nifty discount cards grocery stores give you for your "discounts", so tracking is going to continue no matter how much people don't like it or want it.

[shrug] You can do what I do and minimize your presence online as much as possible, but that's about it.

We could try to enact strong consumer privacy protection laws, using successful examples as a template? Germany, for example, has extremely strong personal privacy protections and still manages to have a very successful business environment.

If you're viewing with Google Earth, hit the "Historical Imagery" button on the tool bar because the first "older" overlay shows a newer image with far more progress.
