At closing time, Macapagal got a call from some employees about a huge fight a block away. He says it was the second fight of the night. The first allegedly started at MarQuee Lounge with the same group of people.

"They were saying they were with USC. They were shouting anti-Spokane rhetoric," Macapagal said.

Spokane police say the descriptions they have also fit two USC players. Macapagal said he ran into the same guys at Satellite Diner early Sunday morning.

"Immediately out of the Satellite comes one of the assailants. The first person of inertest was 7-feet-tall, 260 pounds and is the center for USC. He was looking drunk, looking belligerent, calling out our guys, basically admitting to what he had done. [Including] hitting several people, including two women," Macapagal said.

That's when another fight broke out.

Witnesses' pictures show some of the injuries. In all, four people were taken to the hospital.

Most of the Northwest engages in anti-Spokane rhetoric. But just watch if you Californians try it.

Subby must be confusing USC with UCLA when it comes to 'storied' college basketball programs from the LA area.

For the record, the list of NCAA basketball storied programs is usually:

North Carolina
Duke
Kentucky
Indiana
Kansas
UCLA

Then there's the Regional Storieds, which is pretty much all of the Big East thats played in a final; ACC, Florida, Big Ten, Arizona. I don't rate Gonzaga, because they have never made a final four. This won't be the year, either. In 10 years if Butler keeps it up they'll be in the club.

If you see my statement, I was referring to the 'storied' LA college programs. USC has never really had great basketball success... UCLA has.

Now, regarding your list, I still see that UCLA has the most titles. They have a total of 11. The second team is Kentucky, with a total of 8. UCLA has the longest winning streak (88 games). UCLA has the most consecutive NCAA titles (7)... which is more than the third team of total titles have (UNC and Indiana with a total of 5)...
Maybe you should put UCLA higher on your list.

The best part is that USC fans are dismissing the story as "BS", and that people just want to take down their innocent basketball players simply because they were there last night.

It was an east-to-west listing. Untwist your panties, John Wooden.

Where did you make that clear when you listed the 6 schools from your list? Here is what you Boobiesed...

"For the record, the list of NCAA basketball storied programs is usually:

Where can anyone get a East-to-West list thing from this post? After posting your top 6 schools, you then posted "Then there's the Regional Storieds..." so it is only here that you start to even talk about regions.

So you still think UCLA should not be higher on your list?

Let me try and help Capt Butthurt. North Carolina and Duke are east of Kentucky and Indiana. Kentucky and Indiana are east of Kansas. All these schools are to the east of UCLA.

You sound like the type of biatch that whines about East Coast bias.

I read that list and failed to see any sort of ranking expressed or implied.

Nobody calls my Bruins less east than some slapdick North Carolina team.  John Wooden's pyramid has "eastiness" right there, third row, second from the right, between to "please rewind videos before returning them" and "a neon open sign at a massage house means they are full service, if you know what I mean".  Jerk.

Really? I did not know these schools were located east of UCLA... I'm glad you made me aware of this.

Anyway, why don't you read his post again. My point is that he did not list his top 6 schools by region... he just listed what he thought were his top 6 schools, period. Read his post again. If he would have said, "here are my top 6 schools, starting from east to west", then I would have actually agree with him.

Again, here is his post... where would anyone get the idea that he meant it was a East to West ranking, meaning here are the top East schools, then the top Midwest schools and finally the top West coast team?

Ok, you may have a point. I was under the impression that he was posting what he thought were the top 6 storied programs. It was not clear that the list meant East first schools, then finally the West schools.

Where would anyone get the idea that they were ranked in a particular order (to get offended)?

I first assumed they weren't ordered. Then you whined, so I looked for an order within them. It's almost alphabetical but not quite. So I noticed UNC and Duke are right next to each other and I looked at it geographically. And that aligns.

But keep finding perceived slights.

What kind of anti-Spokane trash were they talking?
