All of the Air India passengers debarked to provide assistance on how to repair the Jetblue plane.

/They did the needful, and kindly reverted the same.

The JetBlue Airbus was taken out of service while maintenance evaluates its damage.

Did they try turning the plane off, waiting a few seconds, and turning it back on again?

The first time I ever got that one I simply replied, "Sorry, I don't do the needful."

/Had you read my email instead of just scanning keywords you would have seen that I already tried your proposed solution
//If I could do the needful, I wouldn't need to ask you to do it
