There's no way I'm letting them rent for free, period, no matter what they do.

As far as I can tell, all of Prudy's letters are fake. She must have a very gullible editor.

Legalizing gay marriage beastiality will not harm heterosexual marriages human on human intercourse or "family values."

It is no one else's business if two men or two women and dogs want to have sex.

2013-03-10 09:04:41 AM
at least it wasn't a child

see dogs rank lower than children on the "is it human" pole

Prudence isn't very nice.  She judges sexual behavior that she doesn't participate in as "deviant."  She also judges people who engage in it as being likely to engage in other things that she's judged this way.  Sure, there's a lot wrong with the guy having sex with his dog, but there's also a lot wrong with Prudence.

2013-03-10 09:28:35 AM
Was it a male dog? Cause that would be sick, and wrong, and wrong and sick.

At first I thought I was having daylight-savings/sleep-deprived déjà vu. Then I realized I read this same article on Slate two weeks ago.

Reminds me of a Dan Savage story about a man he was interviewing regarding his unabashed horse fetish.  He went on about how he loved the horses, the horses loved him back, and wasn't wrong,  it was beautiful.  When Dan asked if the horses male or female he flew off the handle about how "he's not gay".

That was my thought.  My response to "I'm worried about the safety of my wife" would be "Is your wife a dog?"

Dear Fark,

We caught subby submitting "Dear Prudence" letters - how long should we ban him for?

Well, since nobody else is asking the obvious... what the hell does this guy's wife look like if he has to relieve his sexual urges on a dog?

Yeah but it's ok cuz it's HIS dog, ya know?

She's obviously not a dog.

And her advice is off the mark anyways.  She didn't even get into what this person's lease says or when it ends.  Her advising them to "just move out" more than likely will result in monetary loss to them. I don't think I've ever seen a lease agreement that has a clause that allows the tenent to break it because of some unrelated criminal acts by the landlord.

2013-03-10 11:05:49 AM
I miss SpentMiles' brand of trainwreck threads, he'd have written the letter from the landlord's point of view "Dear Prudence, my tenants recently caught me..."

This. As gross as it may be, how does she assume that the guy's grandchildren are in danger based on that fact?

/Also, fake letter is fake

Yeah, that bit used to be on YouTube. "After a long pause he said "Sir, I am not a homosexual!" The same guy on Jerry Springer.
