Who's Denny Hamlin's race sponsor?

Because if you follow the money trail, they could go to FoxSports and say, "Nice advertising. Shame if some sponsor spots were pulled..."

Green flag at 3:16 for those wondering. Not a long pre-race this week.

Driver whining and silly fines aside, today is the day that will give us the biggest clue about what sort of racing we can expect for the rest of the year.

What I'm hoping to see is that the big spoiler means we'll see some semblance of a slingshot pass happening at the end of the straights. More importantly, we'll ideally see cars able to pull up closer behind a car in front in the corners two or more laps after a restart, rather than hitting a wall of air/losing the nose 1.5 car lengths back or so like we saw with the COT.

It'll also be interesting to see what they do if they get close to each other side by side. We've already seen these cars get pretty weird in certain side-by-side situations at the other tracks.

As time goes on, drivers and teams will adapt to the new car, work out tricks, and tweak their setups, but the fundamentals of how the cars behave aerodynamically on 1.5 milers aren't going to change without intervention by NASCAR. Fingers crossed for exciting racing today.

And that's right, qualifying got rained out, so the grid was set by last year's points... which means that Stenhouse gets Kennseth's point position from last year (NASCAR insists the points are won by the car, not the driver, but whatever), and Danica gets her point position... which results in Stenhouse starting way up in the field, and Danica back in 37th. Gonna be a long day for her, unless she gets off some good passes and doesn't have bad pit stops.
