It's about time the tables got turned on the rabid anti-abortion crowd.   Kudos to that student group for doing it in a creative manner that personalizes the issue.

Meh, bully for them. The kind of thing I would walk by, stare at and giggle for a second, then move on, while wondering why someone is protesting vaginas.

Kraln: Having actually read the article, the pictures aren't of student, but of local models.

But they may have cropped out the pork and just left the twat?  I'd be okay with that, especially if a tasteful landing strip or Telly Savalas.

It's insane, but fark it. Fight fire with fire. It's no more offensive than showing goddamn pictures of medical waste in public, which is what anti-abortion protestors do.

It was sponsored by a lgbtq group, so there was probably some girl on girl conning going on

Each poster has a story from a time in the featured model's life when they were forced to make a decision about their bodies, Weber said.

If a woman has a big bush and it's depicted as a large poster, I can only imagine Georgia O'Keefe and Bob Ross working together on an art show.

Jon iz teh kewl: slepygryhnd: Images of bodies in a non-sexual context is pornographic? Okay. Got it. You're a prude. I see. I bet you have sex in the dark. I'm medicated, though, after a surgery, so I'm blathering. Back to sleep.

umm by definition, sexual organs are a sexual context.  I'D masturbate to them.

Anything depicting people's sex organs is pornographic, therefore obscene? Paintings of nude people are pornographic? Any photo of a nude person is pornographic? So, if you're at the doctor's office and you're nude, that's sexual? This is one of the issues we have in this country, we've completely sexualized everything associated with the naked human body, thus all the hangups about breastfeeding and covering up of statues in Washington. That's non-sexual nudity.

I don't normally jump into frays like this, but my Lortab has made me bold.

Speaking about those posters and drawing dicks, I wonder what they'll look like after a few nights - should they still be there at all.

Thanks, BF!  I didn't see a single vagina there, although I could make out about 10 fairly unattractive pudenda and/or vulvae.

I also disagree with the prevailing opinion here that Sarah is a porker.  She's tall and kinda cute.  Her lady parts however leave something to be desired.  I'd still hit it, though!

A doctor near me often has a bunch of antiabortion protesters outside his office. One year, they had lined the street with huge posters of mangled fetuses. It was disgusting. I called the cops and complained. They said people had the right to protest. What about my right to not lose my breakfast on my way to work? I told the cop if I were out there with posters of breasts or penises to raise cancer awareness I'd be arrested. But pictures of bloody corpses is ok. I think enough people complained. The protesters are still there but their signs are text only.

edmo: I would troll with big pictures of dead and splattered Newtown school kids and the headline "Already born kids don't matter so why should the unborn?"

I agree wholeheartedly that THOSE genitals are certainly not pornographic.

I would be gay now if the first crotch I had ever seen had looked like that.

My dad is militantly pro-life. He had a 16 year old employee who got knocked up by her boyfriend. She was going to have an abortion and my dad told her that if she had the baby, he'd take care of him. My brother Seamus is 9 now.

He's also a Puerto Rican kid named Seamus but that's another story

You can't yell "FIRE!" in a theater, neither.  Reasonableness, context and intent (all subjective) are important.

I don't think that's analogous. Showing the results of war (or abortion or meth use or whatever) can be much more impactful than just talking about it.
Fire in a theatre is a safety issue. A bloody corpse isn't

I don;t follow. I was snarking at her but now I am interested in why you'd think such a thing shouldn't be protected political speech. There's nothing else afoot.
