St_Francis_P: Were they in Comic Sans?
Pud: So there's still hope at fighting that running the red light ticket because I'm color blind?
mr_a: Awwww- government getting tied up in their own red tape.
ThatGuyFromTheInternet: The government actually admitting error on traffic enforcement despite potential revenue loss? Definitely not the US.
ZAZ: In the USA traffic lights have a standard layout, e.g. red on top when the lights are vertical, in part to help color blind drivers. One city decided to put green on top because Irish. That is a nonstandard traffic light and you can probably get away with running a red-on-bottom.

MylesHeartVodak: Those darned Arabic numerals. Here is the new sign.SPEED LIMIT VX
Mister Peejay: Happy Hours:It's no wonder that many elected officials are lawyers and that they write stupid laws and I for one am convinced that they write them in such a way as to allow bullshiat legal battles like this which do not serve the public and which only exist to make other lawyers rich.I'm not. I'm more sure of human inventiveness over malicious intent. If you posited that 2 = 2, someone would find a way to work around that. The legalese is just an attempt to try to close those loopholes, which comical results.I'm into automotive racing. One of my hobbies is finding loopholes in the rules.
MikeBoomshadow: MylesHeartVodak: Those darned Arabic numerals. Here is the new sign.SPEED LIMIT VXTo L with that. No, seriously, if you're going for "50," the Roman numeral is L.Also, what we call Arabic numerals are really Indo-Arabic (or Hindu-Arabic) numerals. Numerals in Arabic script look totally different.
jake_lex: I'm so glad someone is cracking down on people trying to cheap out and use Arial instead of Helvetica.
FARK rebel soldier: So the sign had the wrong [www.functionx.com image 528x513]
Ivo Shandor: That's nothing. You should see what the kids are doing these days in Unicode 6.
grimlock1972: oh for farks sake!. seriously? what a ridiculous brilliant technicality to use to try to beat a damn speeding ticket.
