Malcolm_Sex: speaking of Florida, how long do the PAnthers have left? They played to a mostly Jets crowd last night and looked like they were holding a "dress like an empty seat" night a few days ago.

Not doubting you, but according to ESPN, they are averaging about 98.5% of capacity for 19th in the league (the top 16 have 100% or more). Poor Winnipeg needs more seats at the MTS, at 99.9% they have the 27th rank in attendance/game...

You should see how small it is in person. No fatties allowed in those seats.

Never been in, driven past it a few times on rare visits to the Peg, and it looks small from the outside.  I have also heard people complain about the 'cozy' seats.  Maybe when you finally get the Blue Bombers' new stadium finished (started), they can put an 18.5-19k seat rink where the old stadium was...

Popcorn Johnny: SlagginOff: He's just mad that ever since moving to Chicago from some shiat suburb of shiathole Detroit he hasn't been able to find someone to give him a blowjob.

I'm in Kansas City now and there's no shortage of meth heads to blow me. So glad to be out of the cesspool that is Chicago.

So as a MO native who lived in Chicago for years, now living in Michigan, I would like to ask you a real question:

In the off-chance KC would ever get an NHL team, would you support it or stay a Wings fan?

I'll always be a Wings fan first.

TheOther: I just realized that the Stars play the Ducks on April 1, (home), April 3rd (@Anaheim) and again, April 5th (@Anaheim).

WTF?

Well, for the Ducks; that will be their 2nd "3 game series" of the season. They opened this month with a 3 game set against Phoenix (3/1 and 3/3 in PHX, both 5-4 shootout wins for PHX and 3/5 in ANA, a 2-0 Ducks win, albeit with an empty net goal to seal it).

Popcorn Johnny: sno man: re-alignment

Can't wait, it's all worth it just to see the Wing/Leafs rivalry renewed.

sorry missed this somehow...
Yea would be good, but it's so long since they've been division rivals, 1997 or 98 I think was the last time.  I wonder how much of that old magic is left? Once a year in season since then makes it pretty tough to get a good rivalry going, although I'm sure it won't take long, you have a bunch of former Leafs down at the left end of the 401.

I hate Crosby...but I hope he's ok after slamming into the boards head-first there.  He skated off, and is probably fine, but this concussion shiat is scary.

Hockey needs Crosby.

If by head first, you mean hip first... And hockey did fine without him... but thanks for playing.

Yeah, the impact of his hip knocked his helmet off.

He's(arguably) the best offensive player in the league.  It's better with him than without him.

and he scored the winning shoot-out goal, so he must be God or something...especially after having his helmet come flying off after going into the end boards hip first.

It looked worse than it was.

What is your problem?

1.  That's what it looked like at the time.

2.  I'm interested in your opinion here.

3.  Yes, your problem.

1 not from my angle, although that was really close to clipping. Which was not called, BTW
2 I might have thought that was clear already... Crosby is a fine hockey player, no-brainer hall-of-famer, but hockey got along fine while he was out with a concussion and will after he retires.
3 no.

So, you assume I had your angle and snark me on my opinion based on what I saw.  Your problem.

You say hockey got along fine without him.  Have you considered that he is one of those rare talents, and having him on the ice is good for the game?  "Need" is too strong of a word, but your argument so far is just "no".  Your problem.

Yes.

/bye.  You are kinda boring.

Eh, the NHL is more fun when there are people bickering about Crosby.  Yes, it will survive without him...but nothing stirs up emotions like just mentioning the name "Crosby" on a hockey thread.

Were you watching on TV?
You saw what I saw. Except you saw what you wanted to, not what happened.
rare talent like a lock for the hall of fame?  you read like you watch.

Now that they lost we can focus on the important things, like "just how good are the Miami Heat?" Next, on ESPN.
