Courtesy of Torres and the Coyotes no doubt.

The Blue Jackets and their mighty 3 game winning streak and 5 game point streak are coming for you in the West, Chicago. We cannot be stopped!

Personally, Im more impressed by the Blue Jackets streak because they are managing to do it without any talent. Look at Chicago, they have actual real hockey players on their team. Anyone could win with good hockey players. The Jackets are doing it with 3rd graders!

2013-03-09 08:22:29 AM
God, Chicago's so overrated.  This loss ought to drop them down to 15 in the power rankings, right where they belong.

Just had the Blue Jackets website up to check the roster, 25 bucks(!?) ticket, hot dog, popcorn, pepsi, ice cream and a skating pass.  How is that building not sold out every game!!! Seriously the hot dog, popcorn and pepsi would do the $25 in T.O. after the *checks for tonight* cheapest no alcohol, standing room, obstructed view, nosebleeds at $61...
*gets to the roster* oh...

It looks like you'll be in the East next year! So there's that!!

It could always be worse...at least they aren't Philadelphia and losing a game they led 4-1 in the first period.

/ha ha ha

Honestly I'm glad it's over so we can stop hearing about it. And so we can stop hearing about "regulation losses" v. "overtime losses" which apparently don't count.

I just realized that the Stars play the Ducks on April 1, (home), April 3rd (@Anaheim) and again, April 5th (@Anaheim).

WTF?

Good one, subby.

All good things come to an end. The streak was fun while it lasted though.

There's been a lot of WTF this week, though, like the Caps beating the Bruins and Columbus beating Vancouver... I guess it was time for the Hawks to join the party too.

Watching the previous Columbus/Chicago games, I don't think the Blue Jackets are that bad - they seem more snakebit than talentless, and I've thought that sooner or later, they'd burst out.

This Monday's power rankings should be interesting...

I thought for sure I'd be reading the headline "Blackhawks Down" this morning. Glad we didn't get the obvious. Good work, subby.

It was bound to happen sooner or later. Fun while it lasted.

They're still 10 points up on the entire rest of the NHL. So yeah...bring on the playoffs already.

I concur that loss-weaseling is stupid, but if there were ties, Chicago still would've been unbeaten, because all three of their losses up until then had been in shootouts. No one had beaten them in a hockey game for half the farking season. Which is just ridiculous.

I would honestly like to see Columbus make it to the playoffs this year, especially if the realignment happens.

I could tell immediately that Chicago wasn't going to win last night. Still, it was a great run and I'm glad it wasn't Detroit or STL that ended the streak.

It was kind of sad how there seemed to be more Blackhawks fans than Avs in the stands.

He's just mad that ever since moving to Chicago from some shiat suburb of shiathole Detroit he hasn't been able to find someone to give him a blowjob.

The image of him crying and jerking off to last night's game while anxiously awaiting this thread to get his Michigandouche opinion in is pretty amusing though.

He's a worthless troll.

Chicago lost in the first round after winning the PT in 1991.

And so have Detroit (06) and St. Louis (2000).

Big timer, LOL what? Kansas City is a great little town. Lots of cool areas downtown without the crowds or prices of Chicago. I'm 2 miles away from downtown and living in a great suburb instead of gang infested slums. Keep your pizza, I'll stick with BBQ.

Not sure. I always thought that was a Michigan thing.

I would like to thank you, however, for making the boards a more entertaining place. I love Michigan tears.

speaking of Florida, how long do the PAnthers have left? They played to a mostly Jets crowd last night and looked like they were holding a "dress like an empty seat" night a few days ago.
