Thanks, subby!

It sure was more upbeat than the North Korean version.

ps: Stephen Colbert version, from last night's show! lol

Btw, I decided, as a Canadian, to go out of my way for fellow Canadians, to find the Canadian We Are the World link for Colbert viewers, since the other one doesn't work from Canaduh without a proxy.

FF to about 4 mins in.

You are welcome. :)

You know what Stevie Wonder would say if he saw that guy impersonating him like that?

He would say, "I CAN SEE! IT'S A MIRACLE! THANK YOU JESUS!"

I can't remember anyone calling that song out for having lousy rhymes, or no rhymes at all where it should have them, and it's bugged me since '85.

Shostie: I missed Japanese Kenny Loggins. Did they forget Japanese Kenny Loggins?

They also substituted Bruce Springsteen for Huey Lewis and Diana Ross for Kim Carnes.

Somewhere in Kyoto, a Japanese Huey Lewis impersonator is making the long, lonely walk to an empty mailbox that he has made every day since, oh let's say, 1990.

I lost it at Japanese Ozzy.

I think I saw this when it was originally aired...they think this kind of thing is a respectful tribute.  They also think the impressions are spot on.  And, they never think they're racist -- oh no, that's a problem in OTHER countries, but not Japan..

The puppets in Land of Confusion were from the British Political satire Spitting Image.  This is the French version of the same concept, Les Guignols de l'Info.

For some reason, America is commonly represented by Sylvester Stallone.
