Now, yes, Fox did add a little pizazz to the slides, as you can see in the above comparison

Yeah, they replaced good design with really, really bad design.

I love how even the best examples they can come up with are still a couple orders of magnitude smaller than what it would take to match what they're complaining about getting cut.

And they can't even be honest about the examples.

""[These models] are powerful new tools to examine basic biology. Robotic animals allow us to perform controlled experiments in ways that cannot be done with live animals. We have also developed new techniques for deploying robotic devices in rugged field conditions," SDSU said in the statement.

Greg Block, an SDSU spokesman, said that the majority of the grant went to fund the training and education on four graduate students and 30 undergraduates.

"A small part of the money was spent on building the squirrel, the rest was spent on the students. This is how National Science Foundation grants work," Block told ABC News.

The dumbest thing is that $100,000 is *nothing*. You can't compare a $100,000 cost to furloughing TSA.

So... Pretty much the same pattern used by the Washington and Baltimore Examiner's "Senior Correspondents?"

I'm not joking there, that was a daily occurrence. I would read an actual press release from the GWB White House and the next day it would be in the Examiner verbatim as "reporting" from their "Senior Correspondents."

Are we sure the "Republicans should push this more" stuff wasn't part of the talking points memo? Nothing like telling the audience that these stats are all basic facts coming from a neutral source, and that the failure of partisans to win on an issue is they haven't been agressive enough in pushing the Truth.

And Cantor decried the US spending $potatobillion on old people playing WoW. And Bobby Jindal thinks it's silly to waste money on "something called volcano monitoring". And Rick Santorum lives in The Great Gazoo's fartclouds.

The GOP doesn't like the government spending money on things, unless they're guns to shoot people with or ammunition to fill them.

This is just more proof that the SequobamaesterTM  cuts are harming America's most important institutions.  Instead of hiring the best and brightest to phone it in, now Fox has to rely on lazy Freshman journalism students from a local community undercollege for their video packages.  Yet they stoically soldier on, because they love America that much.  I wish I could love anything that much, but as a Lib I already pledged all of my feelings to Satan.

Bill O'Reilly apparently has been pushing that meme - that the news on Fox is apparently "better" - i.e. more accurate - because their ratings are higher. EVERYTHING is market-driven to these people - even the accuracy of journalism.

I'd love to take one of these people aside and point out that this comparison means that Islam is THOUSANDS of times more popular than Fox News.

Forget about the plagiarism, lets look at the numbers. The rubes WILL eat this up, but in their examples, the silly programs the Democrats are keeping alive add up to a stunning $2,068,177.00. That's just over 2 MILLION dollars!
juliekenner.com

That is not enough savings to even be a drop in a drop in a bucket.

But watch how many GOPTards eat it up and post it online as evidence of the evil of Democrats.

geez, what does that say about you?

go re-read the TOS and stop with the personal attacks.
