Dr. v. Doctor nazis take a deep breath.

The one thing that I would expect from a Tardis soda machine is that the cans or bottles should bigger on the inside than on the outside for no extra cost.

Yes, a full litre of Mountain Dew in a half-litre bottle for the same price as a regular half-litre bottle!

Cool. As cool as Coke keeping the same nickel price until 1959. You can imagine how much profit the feckers must have been making on their sugar water to allow them to not raise the price for a whole generation from cradle to the grave.

joeflood: That's not a TARDIS soda machine.  That's a soda machine wrapped in blue wood.  Wake me when CERN figures out how to make it smaller on the outside.

Since the picture only shows the outside, how do you know how big it is on the inside ?

There is a bar in Protland Oregon that the Tardis door leads to the restrooms.

why even bother with the coin slots... you should be able to get it to dispense what ever you want with your sonic screwdriver.

Why is Doctor Who suddenly all the rage? Did he have a cameo in a My Little Pony episode or something?

NathanAllen: Bebop brand, duh.

Yes sir, Mingus Dew!

I'm going out on a limb here, but it could be due to this:

currentlyhot.com

Or this:

4.bp.blogspot.com

Just a theory, of course. Such concerns are probably beyond a kids' show, naturally.

Telepathic interface.  Happiness, crimson, smell of dust after a stor- oh look, my coffee.

It got a special effects budget for the first time in 50 years.

I'm really happy for the guys at EPIC Comics!  I watched them build it little by little over the past several weeks so I'm getting a kick out of the attention their TARDIS soda machine is getting.

You're right of course. Back in the first run of the show, they'd never have traded on the sex appeal of the female
companions:

If I ran that store, it would dispense as many different kinds of "Dr." sodas as I could find. Oh, and tea.

There would also be a note taped to it reading, "Irregular result? Ask an employee." I'd stock it with random bottles of old sodas (Crystal Pepsi, Slice, New Coke, etc.), the odd Brawndo, and perhaps even a couple bottles pre-emptied and filled with jelly babies. Presenting one to staff would get you your money back and a coupon or small novelty gift.

Part of me (a very small part) is a bit worried that her schtick is one-dimensional. The rest of me is all "she hot! want!"
