I scare children all the time, without any mods. I just trigger that "I'm about to be eaten" response.

Is he black or just THAT tattooed?

Maybe this guy could adopt the timid daughter:

He performs at the Venice Beach Freakshow which has been turned into a reality series coming soon to AMC.

Sigh, I guess with Honey Boo Boo being so popular even more freak shows coming to television shouldn't be too surprising.  Pitiful, pathetic, & pandering but not surprising.

I always wonder about people like this.  I get they enjoy this kind of stuff now, but years down the road those huge holes in their heads will have to get old.  Imagine this guy 40 years later turning senile.  He'll scare himself in the mirror.  I have a coworker that has already got tired of my asking him if hears whistling noises when the wind blows.  I would hate to see this guy when he has a head cold.

Yeah, because it takes a hell of a lot to scare 5 year old girls.

Without feeling the needle feels like I'm losing my purpose in life,' he said in the promo video for the the reality series Freakshow....The few times he has seen his daughter he said she was scared of him.

Well, it's good to know you've got your priorities straight there, bud. Better to be heavily pierced and have a scared daughter than stable family relations, I guess.

True, I remember once about that age my daughter freaked out one morning when I came into her room having shaved my head after she had gone to bed

Face piercings like this make a statement - especially when you sneeze.   I've talked to a couple people who concentrate on face tats and piercings, and a couple of them said they did it so they would never have to work.  I bet there are more who won't admit it...   But, unless there is a "reason," like that, I suspect it's some form of mental illness.  That is, not a tat or two, but a complete cover-up, and a hardware facial.  Didn't that "Cat man" kill himself?

Well, I know one thing he can't do for his woman.  Although it would make dental care so much easier.  He probably never hears his dentist ask him to open wider, instead 'can you remove the disc, please?'.

I have fond memories of my handsome dad, when I was a child. I could see myself in his expressive face. If he'd looked like a monster due to injury or a birth defect, I don't doubt I'd feel the same way. This guy chose to become a monster. That little girl is kind of robbed of seeing what her daddy really looks like. If I passed him on the street I'd be cool and try not to be rude and judgemental but damn, dude, any negative attention he's pretty much asking for.

Yes, Nov 5, 2012 Tonopah, Nevada. Age 54.

Hilarious. He has an entire hardware store stapled/screwed/drilled into his visage. But still he's wearing those unremarkable glasses in a totally conventional way, on his nose and ears. He almost looks too softcore for a crossbeam from temple to temple.

The guy has spikes in his head, so I think we can say we dumped the corpse of "right and wrong" in a ditch about 50 miles back.

I'd vote for sneaking up behind him and quickly slipping an MRI machine over his head, myself.

///I really, really, really miss Siouxsie and the Banshees!

Me too.  I saw The Creatures when they toured for their '89 album Boomerang (and Siouxsie a few other times)  I was sad when I heard that relationship/partnership ended, it was such an inspired one.

That being said, there is a difference between a few tattoos and piercings, and whatever the hell this is.
