They should use the Legos to build a bridge over the accident.

It would be odd to get home and find Lego bricks stuck in the tread of your tires, or frozen in the pack of your wheel well. Little Lego Luke on Hoth?

You suggest substituting an original and clever headline with an old and busted meme? How about... no?

"Those legos belonged to my 11 yr old son they where in totes strapped to the top of the durango they fell off strap came loose he cried it seemed like forever but I tried to recover as many as I could cause I don't have the money to buy him anymore."

I certainly hope your son has better teachers than you apparently did.

Weeners in TFA:

Tiffany Lantz just wait a few years and you will be able to print these on a 3D printer. Right now you can pick a cheap one up for about $1000. A good one would cost around $3200.

I like the idea of 3D printing as much as anyone, but people need to get a grip on reality.  Yeah, I'm gonna spend $3000 or even $1000 on a printer so I can print out individual legos out of soft plastic at $20 a piece.  Makes total sense.

The people at Lego are pretty cool, I bet if the mother sent this story to their corporate headquarters they'd probably replace a shait load of them for free.

There's nothing wrong with how she writes she's probably just a stream of consciousness poet I bet you didn't think of that before condescending to her oh who am I kidding they're going to freaking Facebook to get a statement maybe they could have at least paraphrased instead of copy-pasting that mess.

This is only a problem in West Virginia where there are large number of people come walking down the interstate barefoot.

From the article:

As hazardous as Legos are to unshod humans, they also pose a potential risk to vehicles. They may not be able to puncture a tire, but I imagine Legos could be pretty slippery, especially in the damp, cold conditions at the time. The only thing worse than a bunch of loose Legos on an interstate would be a bunch of wet, half-frozen loose Legos.

I don't know about Legos in West Virginia, but around these parts they don't get wet and cold temperatures don't do a whole lot.  Traction issues should attributed to the fact that the legos are a loose granular covering on the highway, somewhat akin to loose gravel.  Unless of course you're a writer who likes to guess facts, in which case this was spot on.

My son somehow recieved the "invisible to children's eyes" set of legos. He swear's the pieces are picked up and then right in the middle of the hardwood floor I step on the piece with sharpest corners. They're like ninja legos. They go invisible when orders are out to be picked up.

/note to mom: Do not leave the legos on the top of the roof! The kid is 11? He can hold them.

If a $3200 3D printer can even approach the precision and materials standards that Lego spent decades to achieve with their insanely high-quality injection molding process, I'll eat my hat.
