When Amy and Tina journey to hell I'm sure Taylor's entire catalog will be in heavy rotation on the elevator down.

Taylor Swift - where "country" and "self-absorption" met.

And, yes, she's the problem.

That boy sure looks like his daddy, don't he?

That said, I had no idea that Taylor Swift was so humorless. I can see her getting upset if they teased her about her lack of titmeat, but it seems like everyone in the media teases her about her get together/break up/write a song about it routine that she has. Why did she single out Tina/Amy?

If only because a measurable percentage of Hell's victims dated her - nothing says "torture" quite like "an infinite mix of your ex-girlfriend's poetry, set to music."

Because her star is waning, and "catfight = controversy"?

The bloom is off the rose. Tick tick tick, honey. Sell those albums now.

That's smart Taylor.

Get into a pissing contest with 2 comedians. That will end well. It's not as if they are well versed in dealing with hecklers or anything.

Anyway,
Does this sisterhood thing still ring true? Just seems to me that women can be nastier to each other than men ever could.

I'd really like to see a short film in which Fey and Poehler, um, "educate" Swift.
Rather harshly.

2013-03-05 08:35:47 PM
Are there still people who feel bad that this twunt was interrupted by Kanye at the start of her career?

Just loop the orange scene from Grifters and imagine Taylor as the receiver.

I'm sick and tired of all the special privileges these celebrities take for granted these days.  All she had to do to get into Hell was use questionable accounting on her taxes?  I had to take a cock up the ass before I could get my seat reserved down there.

Is her star waning? I don't know much about country music, but I know that I see her face in a lot of TV and magazine ads and covers. She was also profiled on 60 Minutes just a few months ago. She doesn't need to resort to this kind of controversy - her career is red-hot at the moment.

This from the "woman" who intentionally gets into shiatty affairs because it gives her purpose.

I can't believe I'm saying this.

Kanye warned us in advance.

That's a very good point.  Thought about this the other day.  Kanye is an insufferable douche, and he is still in the wrong for doing it, but now I'm glad it happened.

Well, at least now people can tease her about being a humorless coont instead of a well-worn one.

You're seeing the plateau. There's no further "up" - just "down" - and she's trying to maintain. Her schtick is old & busted, and she's not serving up anything exciting as a replacement.

I'm just going to go out on a limb here and guess that Taylor "I'm not a feminist" Swift has no clue who Madeleine Albright is.

If there is a God, Taylor Swift's next album will be all about the guys who've chosen to stay far, far away from her because she's a self-centered bitach.

"A special place in hell" is a common expression that's not always meant literally.

Taylor Swift is just SO unlikeable, so basically the exact opposite of Amy Poehler.

I hope that once Swift has the inevitable career downturn for a talentless person like her, she takes her crappy music and her pancake face straight to D-list reality shows that I don't watch and totally skips the "desperation Playboy shoot" that she'll be offered.

She's a pop star, not a country star. Just to set you straight on that. Unless you were trying to sound so cool for not knowing exactly who she is, in which case, whatever.

Tina Fey is also going to hell, but oddly, it's for the selling of indulgences.  Even the Vatican thinks there must have been a clerical error there.

There was a time she claimed to be "country," or what I call "Southern PopTM."  Then again, I think you could power Nashville by hooking up hydroelectric generators to the graves of Hank, Johnny & Waylon, for all the rolling in their graves they must do when people call most modern shiat "country."

She's both, but I identify her more with country music because that's where she got her start.

BTW, I like the "Just to set you straight on that" comment. I too am frequently a condescending prick, so I can probably find opportunities to use that phrase.
