See, giraffes are like really tall, and like Yao Ming is really tall, not as tall as a giraffe, but tall for a human. Yao played basketball for... ***drum roll*** ...you guessed it, the Houston Rockets! See? Pretty clever, right? This is why the marketing people at zoos make like a huge chunk of change.

True but Manute A) Played for the bullets/wizards so he was techincally in the D-league, and b) had retired before Yao. On the other hand, the giraffe is unlikley to open severy shiatty ass chinese buffretgs in the Houston suburbs spreading food poisoning throughout the land. (off hand, if you like the yao ming buffets, please stay in pearland and stop polluting my city.)

CSB alert! I was at the Houston zoo with my family about a year ago, and we witnessed a giraffe lean down between another giraffe's legs, and drink its piss like it was a water fountain. Every time we go back, I can't look at those dirty bastards without thinking about that day. The little ones are pretty damn cute though. Look forward to seeing this one the next time we're there.
