Grrrr. Was supposed to read "Tom-Yung Goong," but it stripped out the characters.

The hell with it. I still want the soup.

Damn, right next to One Shell Square.  If it had fallen into the Pad Thai, we'd all know it.

It gets me here. I can't give you any excuses for it - there are no excuses. I've been meaning to spend more time in the restaurant recently, but I haven't been too well. Things aren't going very well back there. The poor cook's son has been put away again, and poor old Mrs Dalrymple who does the washing up can hardly move her poor fingers, and then there's Gilberto's war wound - but they're good people, and they're kind people, and together we were beginning to get over this dark patch. There was light at the end of the tunnel... now this... now this!!

These guys are actually clients of mine. I went by today when I heard about it to check and make sure everyone was ok. Fortunately it happened sometime in the middle of the night.

Here is a picture from inside the dining room, looking into the kitchen:

That's three stories of brick wall dumped into the kitchen. I think its safe to say they are going to have to move.

I would totally eat at a CBD restaurant.  That's the stuff that really helps me sleep at night.  Usually the edibles are best to get a good CBD content.

Well, since it's not the waitron's fault, I won't downsize my standard 10% tip.

Damn and that was the kitchen area.  Good food too, hope they relocate soon.

The dining areas are all fine. They could clean those out in a couple of hours and be back up and running otherwise.

The problem is the building. Its one of those old 19th century lower CBD structures that takes up the entire block, and probably needs major retrofitting to be safe. The owner is going to have to shell out hundreds of thousands -- maybe millions -- to get the building approved to reopen to the public, and since it is nearly vacant except for Sing Ha, I doubt he will bother.

I was gonna say; "Film sometime next week"

We are visual creatures, we need visual stimulation to perceive the story.

Okay, I know what journalism has come to these days, but wouldn't south side or west side make more sense? This is the only side that's NOT left.

It's a shame-- was the best Thai restaurant downtown.
