Hey man.  It's a good thing they dealt with the tw.  I live here.  I know how important that is when you're dealing with sinkholes.

After inspection, engineers believe the cracking was not caused by a sinkhole.

Congrats on the greenlight though. Unless you played it off as a sinkhole ate the author, in which I must say "well played".

Hard to imagine anything more terrifying.  The ground just swallows you up, and your gone.  They never did find the guy from the original story.

Maybe if we stopped requiring every lawn to be a toxic sewer of wasted water and fertilizer, we would save some some money and stop pumping our aquifers empty.  Put the asshats that run HOAs and insist on enforcing green lawn rules into jail, they are against state law now anyway.

Oh, and gulf courses and others need to stop getting exemptions.  Learn to design your courses with dirt and zeriscaping, it will be more challenging that way.

I admit to first seeing this movie only two weeks ago.  Was not even close to being as scary as I always thought it was.

You guys missed the best part:

After inspection, engineers believe the cracking was not caused by a sinkhole.

It's believed the problem is due to the age of the home.

So basically Florida is going to freak out about sinkholes like the rest of the world was freaking out after that meteorite in Russia when people were panicking anytime they saw a shooting star.

Other than the seen with the maggots, nothing about that movie bothered me.  I almost saw it as a comedy.  I didn't realize it was supposed to be scary until way later.

Florida already does.  Look at a map closely.  Notice all the neatly round lakes and ponds completely littering the terrain?  Yeah, them.

No, we're ignoring it the same way we do hurricanes, tornadoes, alligators, etc.  The Media are having a slow news week is all.
