Arkanaut: Perfect for the relative celebrating a birthday in prison.

....Or Lewiston.

//Auburn is better.

At least he's not considering illegal action.

If I were on a jury deciding damages he suffered, I'd give him the cost of the cake, but since WalMart already refunded that, it would be ZERO.

I'm sure as soon as he saw that knife, little cash register sounds rang out in his head when he thought about his impending lawsuit. After all, someone has to pay. His child's birthday was ruined. The kid will probably have nightmares and be emotionally damaged for life.

/I'm conflicted.

I am just glad that this will not stop him from shopping at Wal-Mart.  Because, you know, Murica!

At least he didn't find a mouse in a beer bottle.  Then they'd, like, have to give him a free case of beer, eh?

Bibeau says the damage was done. His son's birthday party was ruined.

How hard is it to eat around the knife? It's not like there was a mouse embedded in the cake. The only person responsible for ruining the party is the attention whore of a father.

I'm not conflicted at all, and I hate SocialistMart. This is a dumba$$ lawsuit and should be chucked out of court.

Poured the batter into a pan with a knife in it.  Stuck in oven.  Couldn't find knife.

It's a mistake.  A minor mistake.

And for the record, lawyers will turn you away if you try to sue a surgeon who left a knife in your stomach.

If the kid had taken the cake to school and gotten expelled, we'd have a lawsuit.
