FatherChaos: Rodman, who went to North Korea with the Harlem Globetrotters and an HBO camera crew, raved about the dictator, who lives in lavish luxury while most of the people in his nation are starving.

Fair and balanced, right guys?  We're not biased at all!

Let me suggest some reading material for you.

"More than 13 million North Koreans suffer from malnutrition, including 60 percent of all children -- the worst rate among 110 developing nations surveyed by the World Health Organization and UNICEF. "

That's from PBS.  Is that sufficiently fair and balanced?

I'm pretty damn liberal, but is it not true that most people in North Korea are starving?  Is it not true that Kim Jong Un lives in lavish luxury?  If the facts are correct then what exactly is the problem?

FTA:
"There is nobody at the CIA who can tell you more personally about Kim Jong Un than Dennis Rodman, and that in itself is scary," Col. Steve Ganyard, former deputy assistant secretary of state, told ABC.

Wow, just wow.

And now Rodman is in the position of having information the CIA wants and the CIA can giving Rodman anything he wants in exchange. That's kind of scary.

It also gives me an idea for a humorous screen play where Rodman stars as an unlikely intelligence agent who can't blend in because he's too tall and covered with freakiness, causing all kinds of problems for the by-the-book veteran he's been attached to.

That's just silly.  Dennis Rodman was there for about a week.  Kim lived in and went to school in Switzerland for 5-10 years.  If anyone bothered they could probably find out more about the kid's personality from his former class mates than most of North Korean's top leadership knows.  Rodman probably knows less about Kim Jon Un than what's is in the wikipedia article about him.

Wait, you're telling me a woman had sex with this?

The gun to her head helped. The fact she got to see her family again for completing one realistic orgasm and her kid is now a member of the Lucky Sperm Club all contributed.

Can we put Dennis Rodman in the same category as Jane Fonda/North Vietnam? Or are the parallels insufficient?

I think the promise of food for her and her family was probably sufficient.

As for Rodman, he's the perfect spy. His celebrity gains him access, and his wacky persona is completely disarming so they'll tell him anything. What they don't realize is that beneath that disinterested, self-indulgent exterior is a Mensa mind, soaking it all up and ready to analyze and report to his CIA handlers.

Are you disputing that?  North Korea has been in famine for a while now.  And the top guys are well-known to live in luxury.
