Noticeably F.A.T.: Tatterdemalian: It's not hard to understand, the leftright just wants to live in a world where reality is subjective and imagination is objective, because it's the only way to make miracles occur reliably and create perfect societies.

/the fact that it's impossible is what inevitably drives them to madness and destruction, blaming reality for sabotaging their dreams
//or they grow up, learn to work within the limits of reality, and become successful
///well, used to, before the leftright made success so socially unacceptable it borders on criminal

The comment still works. Huh. Wonder what that means.

And here we have our first example, a typical FARKer who thinks he's channeling a "deeper" subjective reality by replacing a word with its opposite, and proclaiming it "still works."

/it means you're as silly as the guy who thinks he can fly by switching the words "down" and "up" in his science textbooks

Ok. You keep telling yourself that the right is completely rational, and if it wasn't for the left everything would be sunshine and unicorns.

/The side that came up with the 'trickle down' theory of economics is the one that doesn't believe in pipe dreams? Riiiight.

did the guy have clearance?

then he signed a document at some point authorizing this.
You'd think the 4th amendment would cover it, but until a test case comes up it's wide open

Tellingthem: KrispyKritter: TofuTheAlmighty: And now the NSA can wiretap you with impunity while SCOTUS just ruled you can't sue if the feds don't admit you were being wiretapped.

Land of the free.

"Land of the free" is a song lyric. That's all. People convince themselves otherwise when repeating phrases, sayings and song lyrics etcetera without giving thought.

Also makes a nice album title...Link

I love you...

AverageAmericanGuy: In a free society, the government must use secret police and stealthily spy on all its citizens.

In a communist dictatorship, the government can use these tools in the open.

you say "must" like there's nothing we can do about it.. like it's so hard to have out-of-band comms. it's really not. We get the rubes  - and that's fine with the money making apparatus that all that stuff ultimately becomes.
