Yes, well, if you're going to willfully violate safety procedures and/or regulations, you probably shouldn't then film it and put the video on Youtube.

Unless it's a 10-hour half of a day (i.e., 10 AM is noon), in which case it's more like 2:45 AM.

Damn. We are so disposable as workers that they can fire 30 folks and just shrug.Hard for me to believe they had no levels of disciplinary action besides outright firing. What assholes the bosses of that company must be.

If I work all day at the Blue Sky mine, there'll be food on the table tonight. And the company takes what the company wants and nothing's as precious as a hole in the ground.

For a long time in my youth, I thought Peter was singing "Who's gonna shave me?" Which made sense while watching the video clip.

That's exactly the kind of attitude workers and union organizers have been fighting against with collective bargaining and I'll have you know...wait a minute...

Seems a bit harsh.

Thirty-five.

That's the answer.

Since I was a little kid looking up at adults, I always wondered when exactly somebody becomes old. I just figured out the answer and the answer is thirty-five.

I'm 35. The "Harlem Shake" is complete news to me with this link. I also didn't instantly "get it". About 0.68 seconds later I realized it's just boredom, like so many silly, fun moments.... of youth.

Ah.

I am now old.

I kind of like being old.

In the metric system, all the measurements are easy to convert and based on units of 1000.
In your system, nothing converts without a table/calculator and everything has it's own base unit math, sometimes not even in base10.

The difference, my friend, is the metric system is not retarded one.

Firing them is ridiculous and way too harsh. That's just plain bad management. I'm surprised that the rest of the workers would stand for the firing. I would walk in protest.
