You'd be wrong.

Would prefer the green air of Delhi.

So the last time you visited LA was in the 1970s, right?

Nope, but late 90's

They don't. Some of their air pollution is dust caused by large scale deforestation. At a certain time each year South Korea is subject to Yellow Dust Storms from blown over from China. It's bad enough to cause fatalities in those with preexisting respiratory problems.

Same.

LA only had 18 Smog 1 alerts in 1998, to give an example of the late 90s.  Back in the 70s, you'd get something like over 100 in a year, which is why back then it could have possibly been comparable.

I could also maybe understand the gross comparison if the one day a person was in LA was also when there was a really bad wildfire with the Santa Anas blowing the smoke into the basin.  Otherwise, no.

Google it. I did, and the first article that popped up included a picture of what such a storm looked like and what it could do.

shower_in_my_socks: Combine Beijing with Somalia, and you have a Libertarian's wet dream. Who needs government? Well, besides all of those people who are dying from cancer and getting murdered by warlords.  Google "Cancer Villages" and "China" and come back and tell use we don't need the EPA. We learned during our own industrial revolution that companies do not regulate themselves.

You are using China as an example of limited government?
