Exactly. Since they haven't actually pulled the thing out of the river, it's all just speculation.

Disagree. There's nothng "Bond" about Live and Let Die. It's a good song, but completely out of place for a Bond film.

Goldfinger, Diamonds are Forever and Moonraker. I also think the Adele song is pretty good.

I don't know.  It's a great Bond Song, but when I think Bond theme songs, I gotta go with Goldfinger.

It's too bad Alice Cooper's version of Man with the Golden Gun wasn't used.  It would give Live and Let Die a run for it's money.

/Can we all at least agree Skyfall had a shiatty theme?

Remember when the Brits were a brave force of people whose empire spanned the globe? Yeah, they don't either.

I met the guy who did the "running across the crocs" stunt in Live and Let Die, on a family trip to Jamaica shortly after the movie came out. He raised the crocs as a hobby and rented out the place to filmmakers every few years; his swamp (outside of Negril) was also seen in Papillon.

The way he explained it, they got the shot in three takes. They were shot in three-week intervals, because that's how long it would take him to heal up between takes.

The house you see blowing up was his actual house; the studio bought it it, blew it up, and rebuilt it as part of the shooting agreement.

The funny part was that I wound up waiting on Roger Moore at the Alfred Dunhill store in Chicago about a decade later. My bosses would have fired me for saying anything beyond simple politenesses, so I didn't bring up the crocodile ranch.

Too bad it couldn't have had a decent Bond movie attached to the song.

Really?  I thought Skyfall had a terrible theme song.  I liked the visuals, but was not a fan of the song attached to them.

Not as crazy as it sounds.  The Bond producers were awash in money in the 1970s and no that no matter what they spent, they'd always make more.  They couldn't find anyone to rent them a stunt Rolls Royce to drive into a lake for A View to a Kill, so they simply used "Cubby" Brocolli's person car.  Once they finished the scene and fished it out, they sent it to the factory in Crewe and the production payed for the overhaul.

It's one of the best no question.
Too bad the movie itself was so awful.
