He's the guy who played the spoiled rich kid in the '80s and a bratty detective in the '90s. I might have seen him in a movie so forgettable too, but I forget which one.

/checks imdb - I see I'm mostly right. I didn't know he was on 24 5 seasons after it should have ended.

Say what you will about Ricky Schroeder but The Earthling was a good movie.

That vile temptress and her fandom-destroying ego ruined the seminal science-fiction program "Time Rings". How dare you people heap praise upon her evil, wicked, gorgeous head.

I'd like to think they had better things to do, but after the Changeup and that BK commercial, I'm not so sure.

Didn't click the link, but if it's from that Jon Voight boxer movie, the overwrought melodrama in that one was the very definition of Narm.

Don't worry Rick.  You won't be mistaken for the kid who was in "A Christmas Story", at least by me.

ah, Ricky Schroder, the only celebrity i ever wrote a letter to, i think i was 9 or 10. sent in a letter, and actually was surprised i got a reply. it had an 'autographed' picture, and a lovely form letter thanking me for being a fan, and asking me to send $25 dollars to join the fan club.

Don't be a fool, man. Go buy her the spandex costumes for her yourself. And some shoes. Naughty, naughty shoes.

I used to watch this when I was a kid. At least he didn't turn out to be a broke crackhead like a lot of other child actors.

The event was part of an ongoing series at the New York City club, in which comedians compete for the opportunity to roast Dennis Rodman in the "SYTYCR" finals March 15.

Why don't Dennis invite his new BFF? Everyone just seems to have a barrel of fun when he's around.

Too tired to see if it still case, but a few years ago I read that he had been married for years to the same woman, had a passel of kids and lived on a ranch. He seemed squared away and I remember thinking "Good on him."

The kid from "A Christmas Story" grew up to be farkin' Gorgeous, and is a somewhat successful producer.

Two child actors that turned out well.

A young Molly Ringwald did an episode of Silver Spoons too

"somewhat" as in EXEC. PROD. on "Iron Man" and "The Breakup", director of "Couples Retreat", actor in many movies that were popular (bit parts, mostly, though), and many appearances and producer/writer credits on TV

and yes, turned out much better looking that we may have expected Ralphie to turn out

I just saw an interview with him this morning about a film he's directing.  His daughter's in it and was part of the interview.  I shiat you not, she looked like late-teen Ricky in a wig.  That's how much she looks like her dad.
