I can barely hold a tune in an MP3 player. Maybe a 13" beard would fix that...

Ever see Kid Dynamite at Buddy Guys?

No.  But did get kicked out on the South Side.  Muddy Waters was finishing his set (2nd I think), and then the Blues Brothers came onstage.  ('80- 81?)   We had front seats for short time.  Muddy sat with us.  The Blues Brothers played 4 or 5 songs.  Then we were asked to leave.  We escaped to the back of the bar but again asked to leave.   I still can't remember who got the glass pitcher with the bar logo.

Good memories of the Blues in Chi-Town,

I can give you no advice on that.   I can't stand the feel of lotions and such.  I use this soap:

sun damage isn't something you have to worry about here.  even in the summer, when the sun is overhead for 20 hours, you'll really only get burned if you're out on the water with no sunscreen.

but the short days in the winter and the sometimes 8 weeks of constant rain, that can wear on a person.

Yep, reminds me of when I worked in the kitchen at Disney (no windows in the catering kitchens I worked in). Got in around 5AM, and depending on the shift, sometimes I'd be on til almost 5PM. I'd just catch a glimpse of daylight, even here in Florida.
