This is very bad news. As a Brit I'm worried that if his show gets cancelled he'll come back here...

To be fair some of those cat channels are freaking adorable.

Nonsense, if he goes home, you can throw him in jail for the whole phone hacking thing.

That 87,000 viewers are within a certain demographic. Somehow I think there are probably some old folks watching him as well, but advertisers don't give a shiat about them.

THOSE 87,000 viewers, rather.

Or get Jeremy Clarkson to hit him again.

That's what happens when you attack your guests with the haughty attitude of someone who is an expert on the topic, but simultaneously showcase examples of how you don't have any idea what the fark you are talking about.

Are you talking about Morgan or Alex Jones, here?

I'm pretty sure his viewership consists solely of conservative bloggers looking for a reason to be outraged.

JerseyTim: I'm pretty sure his viewership consists solely of conservative bloggers looking for a reason to be outraged.

Yep, he attracts the same demographic as Limbaugh, only nobody cares enough about Morgan to say anything about it. Irony of ironies: Rush Limbaugh is still on the air because of the listeners that only listen to find a reason to get him taken off the air.

Couldn't have happened to a more deserving guy.

But still more viewers than the entire CW network!

Maybe that dude Maddow can show Piers how to manipulate Twitter better.

True, but the fourth season of Star Trek: Enterprise was actually worth watching.  CW and Piers Morgan isn't.

Piers Morgan is England's revenge over the whole American Revolution thing, isn't it?

Highest rated show on CNN!

I don't buy that explanation. His advertisers wouldn't have stuck around as long as they have if the people they were targeting didn't tune in

You take that back.  Supernatural and Arrow are rocking this season.

I agree w/ Arrow. Although they need more Slade Wilson and Merlyn and less Triads.

There's some Minecraft channels on youtube that get more views per video than that.

So true.  He's also gotta learn to keep his mouth shut.  Telling the geek girl was one thing, but revealing himself to Tommy?  That's gonna come back to haunt him.

I really enjoy watching Piers Morgan. Perhaps it's because I too am a condescending prick who likes to aggravate people with my words and haughty attitude.

The preceding may sound like it's a backhanded insult at Piers, but it's not. I really enjoy his show.

I agree that the target audience is still listening in profitable numbers. But they are probably less numerous than those looking for reasons to blast Rush and/or take him off the air.

BTW, where else would his remaining advertisers buy time?

The ones that old can only watch him if he's on channel 13 or below.

Oh, because Maddow is actually a woman, but she's also a lesbian, so it's funny that you called her "dude".  Comedic GENIUS!

Yes, tell me another joke with Obama eating fried chicken and watermelon.  Ooo, or spell Microsoft with a dollar sign!

How could so few people watch a nationally televised program? I know that's only the target demo, but still. There are well over 300 million people in this country and your nationally televised news program cannot even get .04% of them to watch? Even I could get more people to watch a TV show than that.

FTFA: an exclusive interview with Gus Searcy, the mentor of Jodi Arias

I have no clue who either of those people are. I'm not even being facetious.

To be able to stay on air with numbers like that, he must be able to give world class head.

25-54?

That's not a "certain" demographic, that's pretty much half our population and almost 90% of people who watch news.

I will literally laugh my own ass clean off of my body when they replace him with Alex Jones

I think your ass is safe.  Alex Jones won't be given his own show on CNN.  Even they aren't that stupid/desperate.

Then again, MSNBC gave Michael Wiener Savage his own show...so, who knows.

The one good thing about Piers Morgan is he introduced me to this awesome pizza shop out in Virginia Beach, All Around Pizza. It really is good pizza (worth the forty minute drive) and because most customers there are legally packing, you know no one is going to try to rob the joint.
