Taking down the Fed with silver?

That's silly.

Lead is cheaper.

I had the bright idea once that a good way to teach myself computer animation might be to reanimate scenes from movies using the soundtrack as a guide.

After seeing this, I'm glad I never wasted my time trying this out.

Of course, I don't think I could find a movie this stupid, so perhaps the idea might work after all.

Wasn't silver backed currency the Populist Party's platform to reduce the power of big banks and private debt holders and bring the government in force against the excesses of business? How does that work against the Fed?

Silver! Of course that will be stable.

It seems like a cut scene from a gamecube game

Jesus guys, neither the money supply or the dollar value isn't dependent on the amount of silver or gold or any commodity held by a nation.

I'm not sure what to laugh at first: the stupidity behind 'real' money (doesn't everything have an assumed value when it comes to economics, hello?) or that someone paid for the 'animation' that looks like a farking late '90s video game.

I would donate, but giving them money will just embolden the Fed.

What they didn't give the Koch brothers credit for funding it?

That looks bad. Really bad. Poorly written, poorly animated, and without any interesting ideas to back it up. I think I can safely say I'm going to pass.

I KNEW someone would finally honor the genius of the Hunt Brothers.

These people are like those prepper idiots who honestly believe that in a post apocalyptic wasteland people will actually give a damn about silver. gold or any other "real" money.

They should've read up on the Hunt brothers to find out how well trying to corner the silver market works.

oh wow.

those Taiwanese news reenactments are of better quality than this. and they crank those out within a day of relevance.

Sadly, Mike Nelson would be all over this thing. For as smart and funny as he is, he's as full-of-derp as Hannity and Rush.

Unless that was subby's point.

So, if you have a lot of silver, you're "hoarding silver". Does that mean if you have an equivalent value in the bank, that you're "hoarding" federal reserve notes? Or electrons? Or what? What about if you spend all your money on Flintstones Jelly Jar glasses? Are you "hoarding" those? I'm just curious because I have like 2000 of these:

Luckily Bill & Kevin are on the left. Hence why they steer clear of politics on riffs. Good business plan, too, because let's face it, if both sides of the aisle can agree on one thing, it's that bad movies deserve to be made fun of.

apparently the animation was stolen after being shelved for years. Though i'm still skeptical that the end product would've been that much better.

That's even stranger! Who steals animation, of all things? And what would someone do once they had it? You can't sell it or make money off it; I can't imagine a single thing to be gained by doing so.
