mark12A: The ship is part of the grand plan for the Maritime Sea Base, a concept that allows us to invade seashores anywhere in the world without the need of a seaport to transfer cargo from cargo ships to landing ships. The program got a big boost after Turkey stood us up before the Iraq invasion.I was *somewhat* involved with the program for a while, developing ship to ship mooring concepts for high sea states.I really don't know who they plan to invade with all this crap. Old school invasions ain't happening anymore. It's all drones now, baby....
