Wait a sec, why would you stop drinking unless you're hammered and about to black out?

I always heard that if you took a drink 3 days before you felt it coming on, you'd never get sick.
And you'd be drunk all the time.

Snorting saltwater has always worked for me. Snort it up your nose, let it run out of your mouth. Takes some practice, at first it is almost like waterboarding yourself, but it works.
